Travis Barker took to his official Twitter this Monday to share a couple of thoughts that are related to motherhood. The drummer tweeted “Kids are not to be used as weapons. Deadbeat moms that sleep all day,seeking money, attention like 2 do so. Just hurts the kids in the end… Giving birth 2 a child doesn’t make u a good mom. Taking care of them, loving them,waking up with them, spending time with them does.” It seems to me that Travis was giving a piece of his mind to his baby mama Shanna Moakler. I can’t believe these two are still at it.

We all remember how a tragic accident almost took the life of Travis Barker and now he’s doing something about it. He is filing a negligence lawsuit against the owners and makers of the Learjet that left four people dead and the former Blink 182 drummer, along with DJ AM, severely burnt.
AND RIGHTLY SO! Those people should take responsibility for what happened!
According to the recordings that were released by Federal Aviation Administration this week, the private jet had hit a speed of 153 mph when a tire blew. In which case, the pilots should’ve taken off and burnt the jet’s fuel; instead they drove off the runway. This is why he sues the company. E! News reports:
Per court documents filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Barker’s camp believes that “one or more of the tires failed, leaving tire debris and portions of airplane components along the 8,600 foot runway” and the pilot made a “negligent attempt to abort the takeoff.”
“The pilot’s decision was a breach of their duty owed to the passengers on board and was a substantial factor in causing the crash and resultant injuries and deaths,” the suit continues.
Moreover, the jet’s “landing gear, tires, wheels, brakes, reverse thrust system, squat switches and component parts were not airworthy.”
And there you have it folks, Travis Barker’s retaliation to the jet company.

Travis Barker and DJ AM were involved in a

fatal private plane crash in Columbia, South Carolina late last month which killed four and injured two. God was with both artists as they were able to escape the ruins and flames of the crash ending up with third degree burns. The two were put in critical condition after being admitted to a burn center. The two crew members and two passengers were killed. One of the passengers killed was Travis’ assistant Chris. My condolences go out to the families of those who passed away and I wish DJ AM and Travis a speedy recovery.
