Thomas Dekker, the actor who played John Connor in the Terminator TV series, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence (DUI).

The 21-year-old was arrested last month after allegedly crashing his car into a 17-year-old cyclist near a freeway on-ramp.

Dekker was allegedly drink-driving at the time of the incident and has been charged with two misdemeanour counts of DUI.

The Nevada-born actor was arrested and bailed from an LA jail, but will be arraigned later this week.

The victim was treated for minor injuries.

Terminator star Christian Bale says he does not have an anger problem – but admits that his movie alter-ego John Connor does!

Bale admitted that his infamous four-minute on-set rant at a crew member was an “ugly moment” that he “absolutely regrets”.

Asked on Good Morning America if he had an anger problem, Bale replied, “Well, certainly John Connor has an anger problem.

“The whole incident was something that absolutely I regret… It was real unfortunate and [really] inexcusable…”

The Dark Knight star added, “It was just one ugly moment and I take full responsibility.”

Bale has also infamously had problems with his family, with his mother and sister once claiming he allegedly assaulted them at a London hotel.

The actor has always denied the allegations and police eventually dismissed the charges due to a lack of evidence.

Asked whether his private-life relationships were “intact”, Bale said, “Absolutely… I do believe it is nothing but a family affair.

“We all understand, I assume, that things like that happen, and I have no desire to go into more explanation.”

He added: “I appreciate people respecting my privacy with those issues.”
