It seems the highly disturbed singer might be getting at the end of her rope… either that or she just wants a bit of extra attention. It seems Courtney Love recently considered suicide. This is what she related on the matter: “I think a lot of people idealize suicide. I understand it. I had an episode two weeks ago when I was tempted to jump out of a window. I’m not saying why but the reason behind it is self-loathing. You know, wouldn’t it be better if I wasn’t there? I’ve always been pretty self-destructive. I need protection from myself.” Poor Courtney Love… such an ordeal for her to go through. It’s not like for some poor unfortunates jumping out of the window is a daily thing. It’s definitely a good that Courtney Love didn’t give in to her self-destructive impulse.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has revealed he contemplated suicide as his family abandoned him and his life spiralled out of control.

The star confessed he was so depressed he put a gun in his mouth and came “pretty damn close” to pulling the trigger.

But his life was saved by Laila Ali, the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali – who called him out of the blue.

In his new book, My Life Outside The Ring, the 56-year-old star reveals how his world was turned upside down and how he lost his family and almost his career.

Wife Linda, 50, divorced him after 23 years of marriage – eventually winning a multi-million-dollar settlement.

Daughter Brooke, now 21, was refusing to speak to him, believing her mum’s claims that he had cheated throughout the marriage.

And son Nick, 19, was facing jail after leaving his best friend in a vegetative state in a car crash.

In the book, Hulk – real name Terry Bollea – remembers back to December 2007 and writes: “I’d been staring at myself in the bathroom mirror for two days straight. Two days.

“A gun was in my hand, my finger was on the trigger and I was thinking, ‘It would be so easy’.

“Then my phone rang. I didn’t recognise the number. It was Laila Ali. This girl I barely knew picked up on the Gladiators set that I was having a real hard time.

“I’d met her dad a bunch of times – he was guest referee at the first WrestleMania – and here his daughter is calling me up to see how I’m doing.

“For some reason that phone call snapped me out it.

“I’ve never told her this, and she might not even understand the depth of the impact she had on me, but Laila Ali saved my life.”

Jenni Muro who is an assistant to the singer turned actress is terrified that Lindsay Lohan might kill herself. It seems that Jenni Muro said the following to Lindsay Lohan’s father in a telephone call: “I am trying to save your daughter’s life every day. She is another mess, she’s no better than she was two years ago and she knows that. If I wasn’t around she would be in grave danger. I gave up everything, my boyfriend and my dog and my parents and my new place in LA, everything just so your daughter doesn’t kill herself.” Would this by any chance be part of those tapes Michael Lohan has been releasing to the press? Either way, Lindsay Lohan seems to be very lucky to have an assistant like Jenni Muro… still, didn’t her visit to Leonardo DiCaprio do anything for her?

Wrestler Hulk Hogan has revealed that he came “damn close” to killing himself when his marriage ended.

The tough-guy reality TV star admitted that in 2007 he took the powerful prescription drug Xanax and picked up a gun, after wife Linda filed for divorce and son Nick went to jail on reckless-driving charges.

In an excerpt from his book My Life Outside The Ring, Hogan wrote: “There were times when I thought that a whole bottle of pills would go down easy. Then I noticed the gun in my hand… I kept my finger pressed right to that trigger… and if I moved that finger an inch in the right direction… I would have blown my brains out.”

Hogan revealed that he hit an all-time low after “going to a strip club, drinking, getting all that attention from girls” and coming back to an empty home.

But he mainly blames Linda, his wife of 23 years, who he claims is an alcoholic who was abusive to their children.

Matt Lucas’s former partner Kevin McGee had reportedly made threats of suicide before but he was talked out of it.

Kevin, 32, was recently found hanged in his Edinburgh apartment but reports now claim that he had made three attempts to kill himself in the last six months.

One of Kevin’s pals, Claire Chilton, revealed that she coaxed Kevin, who was ‘married’ to Little Britain star Matt Lucas before they later split, away from the brink of suicide.

She wrote a message on Kevin’s Facebook saying: “I just wish I could have talked you out of it again. It’s hard to accept that you’ve actually done it.”

It is claimed that McGee told a stranger about his suicidal thoughts in a gay bar in Edinburgh six months ago, saying he had split from his boyfriend and was very depressed and had tried to commit suicide.

Michael Jackson’s death has reportedly led to a number of fans committing suicide.

There is estimated to have been at least a dozen suicides worldwide following the pop superstar’s sudden death last Thursday in California.

In Australia, callers seeking help from a suicide prevention line were citing Jackson.

Callers to Lifeline Australia, which speaks to about 50 people per day, were telling counsellors that Jackson’s death has left them distressed.

Briton Gary Taylor, owner of the biggest online Jackson fan club, said he was aware of 12 suicides.

He said: “It is a serious situation that these people are going through, but Michael Jackson would never want this.”
