Levi Johnston has confirmed his split with Bristol Palin, but said they are still friends.

The daughter of Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, was reportedly devastated last week when she broke up from her fiance – but Johnston appears to be taking it in his stride.

While at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles yesterday, he told People.com: “We’re friends.

“The ring’s off, but we’re friends, so everything’s good.”

Johnston posed with singer Brittani Senser at the awards ceremony, but said his date was just a friend.

And although Johnston is not happy about his split from Palin, with whom he has a baby son, he said he is dealing with it in his own way.

He said: “You know, it’s tough.

“It’s not something that I wanted, but life goes on, and I’ll just take it one step at a time.”

The 20-year-old added that he will still be spending time with his 19-month-old son, Tripp.

He said: “Oh yeah, yeah, we’re still co-parenting.”

Palin, 19, reportedly ended their engagement because she was “played” by Johnston.

The Hills star Stephanie Pratt has denied reports that she has split with boyfriend Josh Hansen.

The reality star, 24, said reports that she is no longer dating the professional motocross racer could not be further from the truth.

The break-up rumours come just days before Hansen is due to compete in the X Games, in LA.

Talking about the rumours, Pratt told OK! magazine: “This is completely untrue. Josh and I are happy.

“And I am proud to be supporting him this week at the X Games.”

Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller are said to have worked out the details of a settlement, including the financial terms and custody arrangements of a split.

There has been ongoing speculation that the couple would divorce following the actor’s arrest for allegedly threatening his wife with a knife at their Aspen home on Christmas Day last year.

The 43-page agreement is said to detail that Sheen and Mueller will share joint legal custody of their children, with Mueller having primary custody for the couple’s twins, Bob and Max.

The Two And A Half Men actor will reportedly pay the former real estate investor $55,000 a month in child support.

It’s not everything she wanted. It’s not even close. But it’s enough, Radar Online reports a friend commenting.

Rosie O’Donnell has said she is struggling with single life after splitting from partner Kelli Carpenter.

O’Donnell, 47, recently revealed that she and Carpenter, 42, have been separated for two years and asked how she is enjoying being single, she said: “I’m not. But you know. On we grow, so to speak.”

Her long-time pal Judy Gold said that she is not yet ready to start dating again.

She said: “I don’t think she’s probably ready. You have that marriage, you have the kids – it’s a long process. I have no idea.”

Talking about the reasons for the split, Gold added: “I think it’s her choice and I think she has kids… I think she’s entitled to her private life, and that’s what it is – private.

“I think it’s great that she’s in the driver’s seat here.”

Wrestler Hulk Hogan has revealed that he came “damn close” to killing himself when his marriage ended.

The tough-guy reality TV star admitted that in 2007 he took the powerful prescription drug Xanax and picked up a gun, after wife Linda filed for divorce and son Nick went to jail on reckless-driving charges.

In an excerpt from his book My Life Outside The Ring, Hogan wrote: “There were times when I thought that a whole bottle of pills would go down easy. Then I noticed the gun in my hand… I kept my finger pressed right to that trigger… and if I moved that finger an inch in the right direction… I would have blown my brains out.”

Hogan revealed that he hit an all-time low after “going to a strip club, drinking, getting all that attention from girls” and coming back to an empty home.

But he mainly blames Linda, his wife of 23 years, who he claims is an alcoholic who was abusive to their children.

Reality star Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush’s split was no surprise for pals of the couple.

Kim, 28, and Reggie, 24, split last month after dating for two years and their friends claim they weren’t shocked by their parting.

A pal of Reggie’s said: “It’s been brewing for some time. Reggie’s never really trusted Kim. She’s flirtacious and has lots of male friends.”

It was claimed that Kim had been flirting with Kanye West at his party on July 4 in San Diego and it had upset Reggie.

The pal added: “Kim was dirty dancing for Kanye at one point. That was the final straw for Reggie.”

However one of Kim’s friends is telling a different story and said: “There was no one else.”

Her friend said: “He wanted Kim to move to New Orleans, but she has to be in LA to film Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She’s devastated. She thought he was ‘the one’.

Hollywood actress Liv Tyler has revealed that she had a “tough time” relocating to LA after splitting with her husband Royston Langdon.

Tyler, 32, wed British musician Langdon, 37, in 2003, but announced they were splitting last year. The couple have a four-year-old son, Milo, together.

Following the split last year, Tyler moved to LA.

She said: “It was very strange to have to pack up my whole life – my son, nanny and dog – and head over to LA.

“Although it is great having a fresh start, it was also daunting and scary finding a new home and a new school for Milo. It was a really tough time, but now I’ve got through it, it’s made me realise I can get through anything.”

The Lord Of The Rings actress – who is the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler – added, “It’s important to take those first few independent steps, and now I have to focus on my life and my son, and try and do the best job that I can.”

Peter Andre is “not as innocent as he’s making out”, according to his estranged wife Katie Price.

The 31-year-old model was ditched by her husband-of-three-years in May and she is planning a tell-all TV interview with Piers Morgan as well as a magazine interview.

She said she plans to use the interviews to put her side across after negative publicity.

She said: “I’m doing an interview with Piers Morgan this week because it’s about time I put my side across about all the unfair things that have been said about me in the press.

“It’s not fair – I’m due some respect. I’m the one who was dumped. If it’s on TV, people will be able to see I’m not a mess – far from it, I’m the happiest I’ve been in ages, and they’ll be able to see I’m not lying and not acting.

“I will be doing an interview with OK! soon to talk about the other stuff like Pete and the split. Pete is not as innocent as he’s making out, people will be shocked when they know the truth.

“The reason for the split is so stupid and ridiculous. I feel like I have to put my point across because this is not a game and it’s not a competition…”

Katie, who has two children with Peter, also spoke about rumours that he is dating model Chantelle Houghton: “I’ve got some news for you – I’ve been told by more than one person that Chantelle Houghton has been seen going into Pete’s house on more than one occasion.

“It seems like her and Pete could be in a relationship and if they are, I’m really pleased for them – I think she’s a good-looking girl, she seems nice and I hope they’re happy, just as long as he’s with someone who is nice to our kids.”

Katie Price has revealed that she has stopped taking anti-depressants since her split with husband Peter Andre.

Katie, 31, and Peter, 36, recently split after three-and-a-half years of marriage. The couple have two children together.

She said: “I’m doing really well, focusing on the kids, my work, keeping fit and moving forward – and after four years, I’m no longer taking my anti-depressants – I’m in a really good place.”

The glamour model, who is also known as Jordan, also spoke about the media reaction to their split.

“Through everything that’s happened I know who my real friends are,” she said.

“I’d like to thank everyone for their support and until the truth comes out, no one should judge – and it will come out eventually.”

Katie Price and Peter Andre had marriage counselling in a last ditch attempt to save their marriage.

The Daily Mirror has revealed that only months before the couple split Andre persuaded his wife to give their four-and-a-half year marriage another chance.

A source told the paper: “It was Pete who left Katie – but not until after he had done everything in his power to make the marriage work. Neither of them take divorce lightly and both wanted their relationship to work for the sake of the kids, if nothing else. So Pete persuaded Kate to give counselling a go once they started having frequent, more hostile rows.

“He really was willing to try anything, if it might help. Although they both went into it willingly, it was more of a Band Aid gesture – a desperate final attempt to patch up the marriage and make it work. Pete was devastated that it wasn’t the solution.”

The Daily Mirror claims that Andre’s comeback single, Call The Doctor, was inspired by the counselling.
