Heroes actor Adrian Pasdar was arrested for drink-driving in the early hours of this morning, according to US reports.

The 44-year-old father-of-two, who is married to Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines, was arrested at 2.59am after police spotted him swerving on an LA freeway.

According to reports, Pasdar was doing speeds of over 90mph on the 405 Freeway and was picked up by the police for “failing to maintain his lane”.

It is claimed that the cops could smell alcohol as they approached Pasdar’s vehicle, so they decided to carry out a sobriety test on him. Following the test, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

The actor, who is best known for playing the role of Senator Nathan Petrelli in the hit US TV series, was later taken to a nearby prison where he was booked and had his bail set at $15,000.

It is claimed the bail charge was set so high because of Pasdar’s refusal to take a breathalyser test.

Heroes actor Jack Coleman thinks he became a regular character on the show because of the relationship he has with fellow actress Hayden Panettiere.

Coleman, who plays the mysterious Noah Bennett in the show, pictured with Kristen Bell, is the dad of Hayden’s character Claire.

He said: “He was never conceived as a series regular, I was just a small part in the pilot.

“But all I knew was that he was this shadowy figure… I thought, ‘oh there’s promise in that’.

“It was a great thrill to go from a tiny part to a series regular.”

Speaking about Panettiere, he told This Morning: “She’s been doing this since she was an embryo – have you seen her resume? It’s like twice mine.

“She invests in whomever she’s working with. She has chemistry with just about everybody – I think that has a lot to do with my longevity on the show because she really plugged into me and we really developed a relationship.

“The writer said, ‘oh this is working, let’s make more of it’.”

Hayden Panettiere who stars on the hit show ‘Heroes’ has said that her recent split with boyfriend and ‘Heroes’ co-star Milo Ventimiglia is not hurting or creating any sort of tensions on the show. The former couple met on sets of this very show and have ended their relationship right here.

There has been news that post breaking up Hayden has repeatedly refused to work with the actor whose age difference is a cool 12 years. But Hayden says the reports are false rumors and that they remain friends. Speaking to a magazine Hayden Panettiere says, “Milo and I are very close. We have enjoyed and continue to enjoy working together.”

Oh, what a bi..h this girl is, she is in true sense of the word trying to get Milo’s ass kicked off the show. Obviously she won’t admit but its open news out that she is putting all the muscle to get the actor removed from the TV series.
