Singer Dannii Minogue has admitted that she turned to Botox after getting depression when her famous sister Kylie Minogue got cancer.

The X Factor judge got more treatments when Kylie had to fight breast cancer because she could no longer look at herself.

The 37-year-old told British newspaper The Sun: “My sister was sick, then my best friend died soon after – I felt I’d been hit by a wave.

“I couldn’t deal with the stress. I couldn’t deal with having to look at my face.”

The Australian beauty added: “It was a personal thing of having to get through a lot of sadness.

“At first, it was something fun I tried, then it became a necessity.”

Since Kylie beat the cancer, Dannii is feeling much happier and no longer needs to turn to Botox treatments.

Dannii added: “I don’t need Botox now and don’t want it. Life is just so different now.

“I’m in such an incredible place.”

Sacha Baron Cohen’s character Bruno has now had a dig at Simon Cowell and Kylie Minogue in a spoof new interview.

Cohen plays the role in his new film Bruno, which he has been travelling around the world promoting.

He said: “Simon Cowell is my gay icon. Ein totally straight man who dresses like he does and loves scheisse pop musik.

“And Kylie and Dannii? I love them. Kylie’s like ein Barbie doll zat’s bee shrunk a little bit and Dannii is like a Kylie doll zat’s been left on the radiator for too long.”

Cohen’s character Bruno also had something to say about the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

He said: “Your Prime Minister Gordon Brown alvays looks so sad – like someone has just done ein ‘brown’ in his lap. Ich think he needs some new batteries in his love eggs.”

No, no she isn’t actually going to be in a strip club. Calm those beating hearts boys; sorry if I got you over excited. But one strip club in New Zealand is in trouble after displaying a raunchy picture in their window which bears a very close resemblance to the pint sized singer.

So much so that Kylie Minogues lawyers have released a cease and desist notice urging the club owner to remove the picture. Garth Rossen insists that the picture was downloaded from the internet and is a Klyie look-alike. He believes the sexy outfit worn by the model should have given it away.

He said: “What would a nice girl like Kylie be doing in a wet top like that?”

But Rosson has kindly agreed to take the image out of his window, “We wouldn’t want to upset her. Not at Christmas anyway” he added.
