The Good Charlotte rocker seems to not be performing so well at his new attributions as a husband, or so his new wife Nicole Richie claims. This is what she said about Joel Madden recently: “Poor Joel has lost his hearing. Been asking 4 help round the house for 3 hours. Wait, just said baseball and hes back! ITS A MIRACLE!” This must be why they got married in secret… if it doesn’t work out, Joel Madden is clean, no negative publicity, no publicly acknowledged responsibilities… quite the slick move! Of course, Nicole Richie comes in and blows it all to bits, but Joel Madden surely has a plan for this too.

It looks like 13-month old Harlow Winter Madden is going to be a big sister. Nicole Richie and partner Joel Madden have just announced that baby number two is on the way for them. Joel posted a message on the official Good Charlotte blog saying “What’s better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope your (sic) all feeling as good as i am right now………” Congratulations to the happy family! I wonder when they’re going to get married and make the family official.

Paris Hilton’s recently developed better relationship tastes as she recently admitted wanting to date Prince William. Even though she is already involved with Benji Madden from Good Charlotte, she wouldn’t mind swapping the musician for a big piece of Royalty. She stated: “I’d be more than happy to date William – so long as he ditches the mousy girlfriend. I couldn’t believe it when I met him. He was awesome and really hot.” Of course, nobody can be as perfect as Paris… must be why the Prince decided to just introduce himself and leave it at that, even though some rumours would say otherwise.

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden spent a romantic weekend together in St. Louis. The hotel heiress and Good Charlotte rocker travelled together to the Missouri town where Paris promoted her new perfume. They later partied at local nightclub Home on Saturday night.

The pair – who met through Paris’ best friend Nicole Richie, who is engaged to Benji’s brother Joel Madden – were first spotted together at Los Angeles club Villa on Thursday night. An onlooker said: “Paris only had eyes for Benji. As soon as she saw him she walked over and gave him a huge slobbering kiss. Then they snuggled down in a corner booth. She stroked his arm and his leg while whispering sweet nothings in his ear.”

Paris has recently been romantically linked to Jared Leto. Benji split from Sophie Monk, his Australian fiancée of 18 months, earlier this month.
