Gym Class Hero Does Wino

Gym Class Heroes front man Travis McCoy was arrested on Tuesday night in St. Louis on one charge of third-degree assault. Much like Amy Winehouse did in Glastonbury, Travis beat up a concertgoer. The band just finished their first song of their Warped Tour set when an audience member near the front row called Travis a “fucking ignorant n—-r.” As security was removing him from the crowd, Travis reached down and hit the heckler on the head with is mic. He apologized for his reaction saying “I’m sorry. But when someone calls you something that ignorant and that offensive, you have to bash their head in with a microphone.” He was released early Wednesday morning on $500 bond.

Amy Winehouse gets therapy

Amy Winehouse has hired a relaxation therapist to help her prepare for her live shows.

The Rehab singer’s management have also employed a masseuse and a nutritionist to help her relax ahead of her appearance at Portugal’s Rock In Rio festival after American bosses threatened to cancel her US tour dates if she misses any more concerts.

A source revealed: “This gig is hugely important as it will either give her summer US tour the go-ahead or see it scrapped all together. Both the record company and bookers in the States are using this weekend’s show as a marker to see whether Amy is up to it or is still totally unreliable. A relaxation therapist and a masseuse are being lined up to assist her whenever she feels troubled. A nutritionist is also on hand to help with her eating.”

Amy reportedly hasn’t turned up to rehearsals for over two weeks. Last summer, the ‘Back to Black’ singer canceled several UK shows at the last minute as well as scrapping an American tour last September.

Rihanna Needs to Brush Up on Geography

Rihanna Needs to Brush Up on Geography

Rihanna may have a lot of hits to her name at such a young age but that doesn’t exempt her from brushing up o a little geography. During a recent radio interview in Stockholm, the R&B singer made it clear why she sticks to singing and not commenting on foreign culture. Not even an umbrella could cover this one up. The sultry songstress claimed to love South American and Thai food but “doesn’t like Mexican or Asian food”. I’m aware that Mexico is not in South America but is she aware about where Thailand is located? Rihanna, shut up and just eat.

Manson and Twiggy Together Again

Manson and Twiggy Together Again

Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez have reunited. They two have put their differences aside and are back together to finish where they left off as they share the stage once again. I’m not even sure why I’m writing this since I doubt he’s relevant any more but he still has a few fans out there.

Joining Twiggy and Manson on stage for the US leg of the Rape of the World Tour will be Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday and Ginger Fish. Tim Skold has split with Manson but it’s amicable and neither camp is ruling out future collaborations. The tour will go on from January to February.

Ashley Tisdale Cancels Again

Ashley Tisdale has gone and disappointed a couple of more fans on Sunday night when the ‘High School Musical’ star cancelled yet another performance. She had already cancelled her performance at the Jingle Ball in South Florida on Saturday night and then she goes and does the same on Sunday night for Q102’s Jingle Ball in Philadelphia. More pain from surgery perhaps?A disappointed concertgoer shares that “When I got to the arena there was a note on the doors that said Ashley Tisdale would not be there. They didn’t even announce it on stage. They just put up a note.”

Lindsay Loves Hannah Montana

Lindsay Loves Hannah Montana

Lindsay Lohan went on a Las Vegas radio station on Friday morning where she pimped herself out, using her celebrity image to try and get some Hannah Montana tickets for a friend’s kids. The 21-year old placed the call to the ‘Mark and Mercedes in the Morning’ show on KMXB radio hoping to score tickets to the hottest concert of the year.

Apart from that, the hosts were able to keep Lindsay on the line for a few more minutes where they got some goods. Lindsay answered several questions over a range of subjects including her love life, crazy family and the paparazzi.

Sir Paul Does a Joint

Sir Paul Does a Joint

Guess who was caught doing some drugs earlier this week and actually got away with it. Sir Paul McCartney!

The British media is reporting that the knighted singer was caught smoking what looked to be a big fat marijuana joint when he attended the Led Zeppelin concert in London earlier this week. And like I said, he got away with it! Why? Because he’s Paul McCartney, that’s why. An over-zealous worker at the concert venue who spotted him smoking even gushed “Don’t worry you’re a legend” to him. I guess those are the perks when you happen to be a former Beatle.

Regina Spektor is Ill

First it was an ambulance at Amy Winehouse’s home and then there’s Regina Spektor. The singer was reportedly rushed to the emergency room on Wednesday.

The ‘Fidelity’ singer collapsed just hours before a show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The show had to be cancelled 10 minutes after she was supposed to take the stage. There’s not much word on what was ailing the Russian singer or if any other shows will be affected.

A statement has been released on Thursday though, saying that she was feeling much better. But to ensure full recovery, she postponed the show in Atlanta to December 5th with all tickets to be honored or refunded. The rest of the tour continued as planned since the Norfolk show on the 16th.

Hanna Montana Gets SuedMiley Cyrus

Everybody loves Hanna Montana’s Miley Cyrus right? If you’re part of the 99.9% that think so, well, you happen to be wrong. Miley is actually being sued by a fan for failing to make tickets available to upcoming concerts.

Kerry Inman of Pennsville, New Jersey says that she paid almost $30 to Miley’s official website which promised to make seats available to members before tickets went on sale to the general public. The $5 million class action lawsuit alleges that Interactive Media Marketing and Smiley Miley, Inc. were ‘unfair and deceptive’.

Reps for Miley say that an opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets is one of the benefits of membership to the singer’s website but it’s no guarantee of actually obtaining a ticket especially if there are over 70,000 members.

Justin Timberlake the Australian tour

Justin Timberlake kicked off the Australian leg of his world tour ‘FutureSexLoveShow’ at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday by thrusting around on stage.

During the concert, Justin announced that he was making a $100,000 donation to the Irwin Family’s Australia Zoo. “And when I came here last time, it really hit me,” he said. “I said to myself `What can I do?’ So what I did was 50 cents from every ticket sold on the Australian tour goes to Wildlife Warriors.”

Everyone went wild for that but went even wilder when at one point during the concert, he complained of the heat and said that he would be more comfy naked. He joked saying “but you have to pay more for that.”

Spice Girls : Will They Be Able To Recreate The Magic

Of course they can do the magic to the music world again, But friends the circumstances have changed so much now and between their break, some have become mothers and have the families to look after, then again the sort of money they have especially Mrs. Beckham they might have 3-4 baby minders to look after their kids. Let’s hope for the best. But once they are on their way to the world tour the first few days and the practices and the first big concert show will be a never wrecking time for the girls. If they can the first few days together and accommodating each other in a friendly manner and hit off the way they did some ten years ago then I bet ya people that they the ability to be the real movers and shakers of this year. By hit off I mean if the girls start not to gel with the other and start bitching each other over small hassles then the rumor mill will be a great thing to read from.

KFed on the Mic

People go to rehab for many different kinds of addiction. Is there a rehab for microphone addiction? If so, Wilmer Valderama and Kevin Federline need to go there and fast.

KFed was at Tao in Las Vegas this past weekend. He actually went there for two nights in a row. If seeing him there wasn’t unfortunate enough, Britney’s ex actually grabbed the mic and would not let go. He hogged the microphone and had it firmly planted on his lips all night long much like Wilmer did some time ago.

To make matters even worse, KFed was holding on to a fanlight which he kept pointing at all the ladies.

Barbra Streisand gives first ever concert in Germany

Barbra Streisand, the Jewish American actress and singer, held her first ever concert Saturday night in Germany after she had in the past turned down several invitations from the country. German newspapers cheered her first ever concert and Streisand fans said they were pleased she had overcome the longtime resentment over the Holocaust to perform in Germany. “I still can’t believe it took me so long to come here,” Streisand told the crowd at the concert. “Thank you for coming. Thank you for waiting. Thank you for being amazing. You’ve been a fantastic. I’ll never forget you.” Singers should not think of a country being a barrier as suppose to music. If she has performed in a country like Germany for the first time ever then will she ever perform is developing countries like India or for matter a war torn country like Afghanistan. She did forget to thank her German fans for buying her record but it’s certainly the first time she thought of thanking them one on one.

Where’s My Linkin Park?

Posted under Concert, Music by Heather on Wednesday 16 May 2007 at 6:06 pm

linkin-park.jpg

Anybody? Were is my favorite rock band Linkin Park? The last time I heard these guys making noise was when I was still in high school. That was 5 year ago! Well, for one thing during those high school days Linkin Park music was always ringing on our heads. They were the group who cracked the ice on the rap-rock trend. Every kid in our block was just screaming like freaks(including me) everytime they hear Chester Benington busting his lungs out on the radio. Yeah! And I sing along their music like a regular sunday karaoke.

It’s been quite some time since I last heard Linkin Park. But, I heard one of their songs recently on internet radio. It was instant, the first time I heard I knew it was Linkin Park. They have that very distinct rhythm in their songs.

I recently heard that they had a concert titled ‘Minutes to Midnight’. I bet its one hell of a concert because its Linkin Park. I hope these guys revive themselves be on the lead to a new and improved Linkin Park. Rock on!
