Robbie Williams will sing for the soldiers in the British army. The concert will take place next month on the Twickenham Stadium in London. The money earned from the selling of tickets will go to the “Help for Heroes” foundation that helps soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. James Blunt, who was captain in the army, Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott are a few of the artists who besides Robbie will sing that evening. The event is organized by the Roger Daltrey (The Who) and Live Nation. 60000 people are expected to participate at this event.

The singer who recently performed in Australia apparently really got on her fans’ bad side since she lip-synched throughout the whole show. They weren’t very happy with this and Britney Spears has taken to hiding in her hotel since the not very warm welcome. A fan of Britney Spears is quoted as saying the following when he left the concert early: “I want my money back or I want her to sing properly… The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing.” How utterly dreadful… something must be done! But until they get that law of theirs on their feet, Britney Spears can lip-synch and con to her heart’s content…

Michael Jackson’s pal David Gest believes the stress of Michael’s 50 London shows killed the star.
Michael recently passed away aged 50 after reportedly suffering a heart attack, but the cause of death has not been confirmed.
He said: “Michael told me he was excited about getting back on stage. I told him I was proud of him. But I really believe in my heart of hearts that the pressure of those concerts killed Michael.
“He thought there were going to be ten dates as announced. But then all of a sudden Tohme, along with Randy Phillips, president of organisers AEG, had arranged 20, 30 then 50 dates.
“Michael was being told: ‘You are going to set the world record for concerts at the O2, you are going to beat Prince’s record.’ They knew how to feed into his ego.
“But when Michael realised his schedule, he began to panic. It was one show after another, with hardly any days off. He should never have been tied to so many, especially a guy who dances through more than half of his set.”
David also expressed his concern at the people that Michael hung around with, and in particular his doctor Tohme R Tohme who he met four years ago.
David said: “We all have weaknesses and Michael’s was that he trusted the wrong people most of the time. He thought all people were good, which they were not.”

R Kelly has been dragged into a massive investigation in South Africa but the singer claims that he’s the victim of a grafter gone made. it all started when a woman accused of scamming more than 50 people out of a lot of money claimed that the singer played a part in the plot. She allegedly conned her victims into investing money in an R Kelly tour that never existed. The woman reportedly said that she has deposited the money into the singer’s band account. The woman has been charged with over 60 counts of fraud and R Kelly is wanted for questioning. The singer is denying involvement. He made a statement via his publicist saying “The woman has no connection at all with R. Kelly. This is just some con woman who swindled a bunch of people out of money. R. Kelly had no knowledge of this, he’s just as upset as anyone.”
Katie Price reportedly caused mayhem on a recent night out and was pictured with another man.
The 31-year-old, who recently split with husband Peter Andre, allegedly had a boozy night out with pals and flashed her boobs after drinking champagne, wine and shots.
She then reportedly kissed Anthony Lowther, 28, following a Boyzone concert.
Mum-of-three Katie had been invited to the concert by band member Stephen Gately, 33, and the pair continued the evening at a London pub.
Katie was reportedly blamed for £10,000 damage after she allegedly spilt a drink on the sound deck.
Katie later posted a message on her Twitter page that said: “wow what a great weekend.”
The singer has ended his collaboration with David Copperfield in regards to his upcoming show at the O2 Arena due to the fact that the illusionist is asking for one million dollars per show. Michael Jackson has instead hired Chriss Angel to take on the role of illusionist. A source said the following about Michael Jackson’s decision: “Michael wants to use lots of illusions to ensure his shows are as explosive and entertaining as possible. He was so excited about working with David but fell out with him over the money he wanted. But Criss is a superb entertainer and Michael’s delighted to have him on board – not least because he costs less.” Michael Jackson probably made the wise choice… David Copperfield should be able to summon armies of dragons on stage for the money he’s asking for and I doubt even he can do that.
Pete Doherty doesn’t have as much pull as he thinks he does. The rocker recently grumbled about going to a Lily Allen gig saying “I wanted to see Lily Allen play the other week. But her label EMI got in touch and said, ‘We don’t want you there because [ex-girlfriend] Kate Moss will be there and it will take attention away from Lily. Can you not go?’” That’s almost as bad as being turned away from a Jessica Simpson show. However, Pete proved Lily’s label right when he told reporters “I don’t know. I think I would have been courteous enough… Then I’d probably have head-butted her new boyfriend, put her over my shoulder and run off… Really and truly, I miss her.”
But unfortunately not literally, it will all be part of her upcoming “Circus†tour when she will be performing with Ed Alonzo, “Misfit of Magic†illusionist and comedian. He had this to say about the tricks he will be performing with Britney Spears: “Right away, she got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she’s so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it. We’re going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech. We’ll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish and an appearance.” Right, how can she not be excited since her father is keeping her on so tight a leash she can probably hardly breathe. Britney Spears is now probably the equivalent of a little child who manages to get away from home for the first time. Still, it would’ve been a sight to see her get dissected for real… imagine the profits!

Jessica Simpson had a very crappy performance this past Thursday in Michigan. She stopped singing in the middle of songs, forgot her own lyrics and had so many mess ups that you just have to wonder what’s going on with her. Her reps are trying hard to squash away any rumors of a meltdown though. Her publicist offered the very lame excuse that “Jessica had an off night. She’s a perfectionist and wanted to start some songs over. She always wants to give the best performance for her fans.†If she’s what her publicist says she is, wouldn’t that mean that she would have practiced her songs several times and got them right when it came to performance time?

Swedish pop star Robyn was chosen by Madonna to open for a handful of her European concerts recently. The Swede has come back home recently and opened up to a local paper on what it was like to be on the Queen of Pop’s tour. Robyn seemed irritated in the interview saying “I hadn’t expected any glamour, but it’s strange that they assume that the first thing you’re gonna do is run after Madonna and ask for an autograph.†She wasn’t even allowed to talk to Madonna! The Swedish singer also said that her worst nightmare was to turn into Madonna. We can name another person who’s not going to get another Madonna invite.
Australia’s immigration department has recently announced that rapper Snoop Dogg has been granted a visa to enter the country for an upcoming concert tour. The department took into account that the rapper had travelled to the country three times without incident. They said “In making this decision, the department weighed his criminal convictions against his previous behavior while in Australia, recent conduct—including charity work—and any likely risk to the Australian community. We took into account all relevant factors and, on balance, the department decided to grant the visa.†Snoop plans to tour the country with Ice Cube and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in October.
Gym Class Heroes front man Travis McCoy was arrested on Tuesday night in St. Louis on one charge of third-degree assault. Much like Amy Winehouse did in Glastonbury, Travis beat up a concertgoer. The band just finished their first song of their Warped Tour set when an audience member near the front row called Travis a “fucking ignorant n—-r.†As security was removing him from the crowd, Travis reached down and hit the heckler on the head with is mic. He apologized for his reaction saying “I’m sorry. But when someone calls you something that ignorant and that offensive, you have to bash their head in with a microphone.†He was released early Wednesday morning on $500 bond.
Amy Winehouse has hired a relaxation therapist to help her prepare for her live shows.
The Rehab singer’s management have also employed a masseuse and a nutritionist to help her relax ahead of her appearance at Portugal’s Rock In Rio festival after American bosses threatened to cancel her US tour dates if she misses any more concerts.
A source revealed: “This gig is hugely important as it will either give her summer US tour the go-ahead or see it scrapped all together. Both the record company and bookers in the States are using this weekend’s show as a marker to see whether Amy is up to it or is still totally unreliable. A relaxation therapist and a masseuse are being lined up to assist her whenever she feels troubled. A nutritionist is also on hand to help with her eating.â€
Amy reportedly hasn’t turned up to rehearsals for over two weeks. Last summer, the ‘Back to Black’ singer canceled several UK shows at the last minute as well as scrapping an American tour last September.
Rihanna may have a lot of hits to her name at such a young age but that doesn’t exempt her from brushing up o a little geography. During a recent radio interview in Stockholm, the R&B singer made it clear why she sticks to singing and not commenting on foreign culture. Not even an umbrella could cover this one up. The sultry songstress claimed to love South American and Thai food but “doesn’t like Mexican or Asian foodâ€. I’m aware that Mexico is not in South America but is she aware about where Thailand is located? Rihanna, shut up and just eat.
Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez have reunited. They two have put their differences aside and are back together to finish where they left off as they share the stage once again. I’m not even sure why I’m writing this since I doubt he’s relevant any more but he still has a few fans out there.
Joining Twiggy and Manson on stage for the US leg of the Rape of the World Tour will be Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday and Ginger Fish. Tim Skold has split with Manson but it’s amicable and neither camp is ruling out future collaborations. The tour will go on from January to February.
Ashley Tisdale has gone and disappointed a couple of more fans on Sunday night when the ‘High School Musical’ star cancelled yet another performance. She had already cancelled her performance at the Jingle Ball in South Florida on Saturday night and then she goes and does the same on Sunday night for Q102’s Jingle Ball in Philadelphia. More pain from surgery perhaps?A disappointed concertgoer shares that “When I got to the arena there was a note on the doors that said Ashley Tisdale would not be there. They didn’t even announce it on stage. They just put up a note.â€
