The very funny lady is well known to make fun of Clay Aiken (who she fondly calls, Gayken, even before he came out of the closet) every once in a while. That’s why, when she guested on on Rosie O’Donnell’s short-lived variety show, she wanted to make peace with him.
In an interview, Kathy said yesterday, “I held up one of those ghetto blasters playing one of Clay’s songs, and I begged him to take me back and he said no.”
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! That’s classic, Kathy!
She also adds, “And then I walked out of the room and Gloria Estefan said to me, ‘I told ya—you shouldn’t have gone in there alone.’ ”
According to reports, Kathy said she was expecting at least a thank you of some sort for helping him come out as gay.
But she says, “There were no words of thanks or even really any words at all, for that matter. I would have to say he was not very nice.”
Too bad Kathy, queen of the d-listers, at least you just have more material for your skits!

Clay Aiken is already expecting a son with his 50-year old music producer best friend Jaymes Foster in August but that’s not enough for the 29-year old singer. The pair used advanced IVF therapy to conceive their first child but according to an In Touch insider, they’ve already frozen eggs and sperm so they can have another baby next year. The insider says “Jaymes is due in August, so she’d like to conceive again next March. That way, she would give birth in December 2009… Clay and Jaymes are committed to having at least two children. They’re both incredibly successful and wealthy, so money is certainly no object.

The rumor mill has been smoking about Clay Aiken being gay ever since he walked off the American Idol stage and walked straight into his hit music career but no confirmation has been made yet. Is he or isn’t he? According to Clay, “Nobody cares.” The singer told Us that he doesn’t think anyone should slap their sexuality into anyone else’s face and that all he really wants to do is sing. However, even with all his attempts at keeping his personal life private, several gays have come out on the internet alleging that they were able to get physical with Clay. Clay says that it’s hard to deal with all the scrutiny but that he’s learned to not let it get to him.
