Rapper DMX has been arrested on suspicion he gave a false name to get out of paying for hospital medical expenses, it has been reported.

County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the star told Mayo Clinic in Arizona that his name was Troy Jones and failed to pay a $7,500 bill in April.

The star- whose real name is Earl Simmons - was arrested at a shopping centre in Phoenix on Saturday. The 37-year-old’s lawyer Cameron Morgan declined to comment.

In May he was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and drug possession after 12 apparently neglected dogs were found. Several weapons and unspecified illegal drugs were also seized by police.

Earlier this month the musician and actor was arrested in Arizona after failing to appear in court, pay outstanding fines and for driving without a licence.

The musician has sold over 20m albums as one of the most popular stars of hip-hop in the US. The cover of his last album, Year of the Dog… Again, which came out in 2006, featured him with a pit bull straining at the leash.

He also launched his own range of dog clothing, including caps, scarves and raincoats for canines. It was named Boomer 129 after one of his pit bulls.

Umm, he’s just gross.  Maybe cops will lock Andy Dick up for a while.

Seems Andy was arrested at a Buffalo Wild Wings for being drunk and causing a disturbance.  When cops arrived, a 17 year old in a truck, along with witnesses, also told them that he has sexually assaulted her.

Seems when he walked out of the restaurant, Andy grabbed the girl, pulling down her tank top and bra, and exposed her breasts.  Friends then took him to a truck which cops pulled over moments later in a Sam’s Club parking lot.  He was extremely intoxicated and also had marijuana and Xanax on him.

He’s in a mess of trouble.

Sisqo can’t even get arrested these days and have anyone take notice. It turns out that the rapper, whose real name is Mark Althavan Andrews, was arrested for DUI way back in December. According to court records, no one was hurt and he was wearing his seatbelt. He was sentenced to probation and was fined $1700. His arrest was leaked out by a caller to Mix 106.5 in Baltimore earlier this week. You know it’s bad when over half a year passes before anyone even starts to care. And that’s just one person. If I hadn’t found the piece of news funny, I would have just ignored it too.

It seems that any reason can be made reason enough to throw a party. And if you’ve been exonerated on rape charges, that’s as good a reason as any. Poison drummer Rikki Rockett is using just such a reason to throw the ‘Rikki Rockett is Exonerated Party’. It’s a part motorcycle ride, part BBQ and part live concert all for a good cause. And what cause is that, the ‘clean Rikki Rockett’s name’ cause? Party attendees should expect nothing but a good time. Let’s hope that no one has too much of a good time that it would lead to any more arrests.

Rapper Young Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, was pulled over at 2:30AM on Wednesday for driving around recklessly in Atlanta. Jeezy was driving in a Corvette down Interstate 85 when he was pulled over by a police officer. He has been charged with a long list of offenses including DUI, reckless driving, speeding, possession of an open container, no tag, no decal and no proof of insurance. It’s a good thing that no drugs were found in the car, though with that list of offenses, I’m wondering if they looked hard enough. The rapper was released on bail later that same day. He is set to return to court on July 17.

Shante Broadus was arrested after driving drunk around the Fullerton, California, area. She ended up being released after being given a ticket.

What is it with folks thinking they have to get behind the wheel of a car after a few drinks? Just pass out on the couch like the rest of us!

Richie Sambora is in a heap load of trouble. The Bon Jovi guitarist was arrested for dunk driving on Tuesday night but to make matters even worse, reports have surfaced saying that Richie’s 10-year old daughter with Heather Locklear, Ava, was in the car with him at the time of his DUI arrest. Us Weekly got a quote from Laguna Beach Sgt. Jason Kravetz saying “There were three females in the car, two of them were juveniles. The officer [that arrested Sambora] formed the opinion that Mr. Sambora had been operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.” Richie will appear in court on May 7th. I’m betting there’s going to be some issues about driving with kids while under the influence in there.

Umm, are they perhaps setting themselves up for future searches? I question the motivation behind celebrity potheads dishing on their use of marijuana in a new book called Pot Culture. The book is written by Shirley Halperin and Steve Bloom.

The book includes tips from many well known celebs. Adam Levine of Maroon 5 recommends hitting the whacky weed to the tunes of Lauryn Hill or Miles Davis. Model Adrianne Curry says you should use lip gloss to cover up the smell on your breath. She says, “I carry orange lip gloss, which covers up the pot smell in my mouth for my husband when I tell him I haven’t been smoking…For mints, I prefer Icebreakers. They’re really strong and burn your tongue, but they cover the smell up in two seconds.”

Other celebs included in the book are Cisco Adler, Jonah Hill, Melissa Etheridge, Cal Penn, Rob Thomas, and Steve-O.

Apparently driving while intoxicated runs in the family. Paris, you should be proud. You trained little bro Barron Hilton well.

The youngest Hilton, age 18, decided to be like big sis Tuesday morning. He was arrested around 8:04 a.m. for driving under the influence and for possession of a fake driver’s license. Before his $20,000 bail was finally posted, he spent an entire day in jail.

Not only was he under the influence for having drank alcohol as a minor, but he was well over the .08 legal limit.

His father’s response? “I haven’t been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say - but it will be to my son, not the media.”

I’ve been wondering when this was going to happen. The British police have reportedly hauled Amy Winehouse in for questioning regarding those tabloid pictures which allegedly show her smoking crack. Last month, UK’s The Sun ran grainy video still that seemed to show Wino doing hits off of a small pipe. The video was supposedly taken at a party at her house.

The Metropolitan police did confirm that they interviewed a “24-year old woman” over allegations of drug possession this week but did not say if it was Wino or not. Who else would the so-called 24-year old woman be though?

Absolutely nothing can surprise me about this girl any longer. Hence my lack of shock when I discovered Amy Winehouse had been arrested in connection with the plot to free hubby Blake.

Earlier in the week we mentioned how Amy was required for questioning and even DNA testing over the alleged plot to fix her husbands trial. And yesterday she was arrested and held on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. After two hours of solid questioning, Amy was later released on bail.

But before she went for questioning she has to be calmed by lawyers and psychiatrists, as she was screaming and sobbing hysterically. Now is this a drug related reaction, or just a guilty one?

Yikes! An accident is bad enough; a death is horrific.

Back in October, 89-year-old Warren Gates allegedly didn’t yield to oncoming traffic and ran into a car driven by former TV host Gary Collins. While it was stated that the wreck was the fault of Gates, Collins was charged with a DUI.

Gates has been hospitalized since the accident and sources say he passed away on Friday. According to police officer Ana Aguirre, “It’s up to the coroners to determine whether Mr. Gates died as a result of trauma from the accident. There’s going to be a follow-up investigation after the autopsy is completed.”

Collins pled no contest to the DUI and will serve four days in jail.

Sad…so sad. Really, they should institute a maximum driving age or at least administer driving tests again.

Rapper Remy Ma is already facing assault charges but that isn’t stopping a judge from ordering her to face trial on gang assault and witness intimidation charges too. The additional charges reportedly stem from a beat down Remy allegedly had some male friends put on a boyfriend of a witness who was set to testify in her assault trial.

A lawyer for the 26-year old rapper, whose real name is Remy Smith, tried to have the extra gang assault and intimidation charges dismissed saying there was insufficient evidence to indict his client.

Remy’s next court date is scheduled for January 3.

16 people, including rapper Bryan “Birdman” Williams were arrested for possession of marijuana Tuesday.  Police in Kingsport, Tennessee, stopped the RV they were riding in after it made an improper lane change.

Kingsport Police Cpl. Tim Horne said he could smell marijuana as he approached the RV, and found approximately one pound inside a trash can when he searched the vehicle.

Among those arrested were Williams, his 18 year old wife Britany, and his brother Ronald.  The other thirteen arrested included rap industry icons such as Cash Money Records promoter Casey Collins, music promoter Ovide Antoine, and Birdman’s road manager Shahid Muhammad.

As of Tuesday night, all sixteen of them remained in jail.  Police have called in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to investigate as well because they also found an assault rifle, a handgun, and a magazine for a .45-caliber handgun.  At this time they haven’t filed weapons charges but are still investigating.

The group was on their way to New York to do a shoot for BET.

Maybe they should’ve flown a little higher so the cops couldn’t catch them…..
