What’s the most dangerous place in the world for a recovering alcoholic apart from your neighborhood’s friendly bar? A Blackjack table in Las Vegas of course! That’s where Richie Sambora found himself at when he was in the mood to gamble. Fortunately, the Bon Jovi guitarist who went to rehab for alcoholism in 2007 and got a DUI in 2008, only took a chance with his luck with the cards and only stuck to bottled water all night long. Whether he won or lost at that table, having him stay away from the alcohol is a win in my book.

Richie Sambora is in a heap load of trouble. The Bon Jovi guitarist was arrested for dunk driving on Tuesday night but to make matters even worse, reports have surfaced saying that Richie’s 10-year old daughter with Heather Locklear, Ava, was in the car with him at the time of his DUI arrest. Us Weekly got a quote from Laguna Beach Sgt. Jason Kravetz saying “There were three females in the car, two of them were juveniles. The officer [that arrested Sambora] formed the opinion that Mr. Sambora had been operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.” Richie will appear in court on May 7th. I’m betting there’s going to be some issues about driving with kids while under the influence in there.
