The famous actress recently starred in a advertising campaign that totally changed her opinion about herself. Here’s what Pamela Anderson now says about herself: “Yesterday I was considered soft porn, but today I am art. I have an eclectic group of friends. I like people who can feed your soul.” First of all… I thought she did hardcore stuff too. And secondly: well of course she’s art now… all forms of sexually appealing icons are considered forms of art nowadays. I’m sure that in a few decades Pamela Anderson’s movies will make the best expositions at the Louvre which by that time will be reshaped into a phallus to reflect it’s true artistic potential.

The male version of Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty, may still be locked up in jail but the blood, sweat and tears he poured into his art went on display earlier this week in a Paris gallery. Did I say blood, sweat and tears? Maybe just blood. Perhaps the gory exhibit of 30 of the singer’s paintings done in pencil, paint and his blood were inspired by his love of the needle. Maybe this should explain why his house was said to be stained with blood all over. Any of his remaining fans better get to the gallery quick before someone decides to quarantine the place.

It turns out that the goth rocker is not only an artist in song but in canvas as well. And what he paints is just as shocking as what he does on stage. An exhibit was displayed on Monday in Moscow where Manson made jaws drop and stomachs churn.

Gallery owner Marat Guelman told The Moscow Times that “His artworks are just an extension of him but they are slower and quieter and more subdued.” Right.
