Mischa Barton has sparked more fears over her party lifestyle – after running out of a bar to be sick.
The former OC star was spotted arriving at Hollywood hot spot Bar Marmont alone at the weekend and looking “totally out of it”, according to a US report.
She stayed inside briefly before leaving to throw up, before carrying on with her night out.
An onlooker said: “A few minutes after she comes in, she runs outside and vomits everywhere. And then she went back inside and hung out for the rest of the night.”
A representative for the 24-year-old London-born actress was unavailable for comment.
Barton’s hard partying lifestyle and alleged excessive drug use have taken their toll on the beauty over the years.
In the summer of 2009, she was taken away by police and hospitalized under California’s involuntary psychiatric-hold law just hours before she was due to fly to New York for the premiere of her movie ‘Homecoming’.
Before that, in the UK edition of Marie Claire magazine in 2008 Barton admitted that she went to rehab, reportedly for alcohol and drug problems, and that she had become someone she had detested.
The multi-talented artist recently admitted how rehab turned out for her and her little alcohol-related demons. This is what Lindsay Lohan related on the matter: “The second two times I went to rehab, to be honest with you, I had to go because it was a court thing. It was an obligation. I had to do it to stay out of getting any jail time. And I took responsibility for that. It was like a vacation. I love meeting new people and seeing what they’ve been experiencing. I met some great people.” Yep, no better people to socialize with than dry drunks. Lindsay Lohan sure knows how to pick her crowd… maybe they’ll even party some time… you know, with coffee and apple juice.
Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has reportedly given up alcohol as he has not had a drink in four months. A source close to the rock star said “There’s no guarantees that he’ll say off it — but he’s doing really well so far. He has always quite enjoyed the fact that he seemed to be able to carry on drinking as much as he likes with no real negative impact on his health.” Apparently, his band mate Ronnie Wood inspired him to quit after Ronnie started drinking again and left his wife of 23 years for a 21-year old cocktail waitress. The source continued “He has watched Ronnie fall well and truly off the wagon last year and he doesn’t like what he sees. Plus he has started to feel for the first time like it might do his some good to give up the booze for awhile.”
Jack Osbourne and Paris Hilton once got so drunk they passed out – and Jack had to try to sneak her out of his house the next day.
The Adrenaline Junkie star said that his dad, rocker Ozzy, gave him a look as he walked past with the socialite.
Speaking about growing up he said: “I got really good at sneaking, I’m like a f***ing spy, I can like sneak in and out of somewhere without anyone knowing.
“It was definitely a feat to pull off. Especially when one day Paris Hilton and I – we didn’t sleep together but we got really, really drunk and passed out, and then I had to walk her out in the morning and that was pretty funny.
“My dad was in the kitchen. It was like eight in the morning and I was still drunk and he just looks at me.”
Jack, who is teetotal, also admitted he did still want to drink sometimes.
He told Alan Carr for More magazine: “There is the occasional desire for it. It’s usually when we’ve had a really hard day working and everyone’s sat round having a beer, it would be nice to y’know unwind with a beer, but I know what it would end up like.”
Muscly heart-throb Channing Tatum admits that he eats cheeseburgers and drinks beer when he is not working on a movie.
The beefy actor, who is starring in new film Fighting, said: “I am always training. I did about three-and-a-half weeks of mixed martial arts training and then I went up to New York and started doing choreography and stuff. I have been doing athletics pretty much my whole life and I played American football in college and then sort of stayed in shape. But when I’m off a movie, I’m off a movie. I’m cheeseburgers and beer all day.”
The Step Up star said he had his nose broken when he was filming scenes for Fighting: “13 hours of getting your head beat in and we tried to do something a little different, we tried to make it a little dirtier and more loose.”
But his nose was knocked back into place with spoons, and he told The Paul O’Grady Show: “It’s good. It clicks a little.”

It was announced that Kerry Katona was set to undergo a test to prove or disprove alcoholism because her $400,000 endorsement deal with UK food giant Iceland was in jeopardy. The former Atomic Kitten has revealed last weekend that she is an alcoholic. She said “Four years ago I was diagnosed as an alcoholic after a stay in The Priory clinic. This is not common knowledge as I’ve never admitted it before. But this is a battle I will face for the rest of my life. I can get through days without a drink but it’s hard. I never promise myself or my family that I can beat this addiction but I’ll try bloody hard.â€

According to the Sun, Wino asked for 48 bottled of Jack Daniels! An insider said “It’s common for artists to make requests for food and beverages before they arrive. But organisers have heard Miss Winehouse has ordered in an extremely large amount of Jack Daniels, in fact, a ridiculous amount that she and her team could not possibly consume during their short stay. Everyone is really excited about getting Amy to perform here, and naturally there are now fears she is planning something wild. With Amy’s record this can mean failure to perform or giving a shambolic performance. Whiskey is better than heroin — but not 48 bottles of the stuff.â€
Be smart, drink smart. Yeah right. Wannabe country singer Jessica Simpson sits atop bales of hay in her new beer ad for Stampede Light Plus. The ad reads, as if Jess is actually saying it, “I work out and take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while. That’s why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Stampede Light, it’s beer plus.†The 28-year old singer/actress was recently named the new spokesperson for Stampede Light Plus beer. Is this some way for her to make herself appeal to the beer drinking masses of the country music scene? I doubt it’s going to work.
Lily Allen’s drinking has spiralled out of control, according to friends.
The British pop star was seen on several occasions during the Cannes Film Festival, in France, worse for wear due to the effects of alcohol.
It has now been revealed Lily, 23, was nearly hospitalized following the after-party for Kirsten Dunst’s new movie ‘How To Lose Friends And Alienate People’. A source from the Hotel Du Cap, where the singer stayed, said: “Her father Keith had to get the hotel porters to help him carry her back to her room.
They even asked if she needed an ambulance because she was in such a state.†Some of Lily’s friends have now urged her to seek help and fear she is using alcoholism to escape her heartbreak over her miscarriage in January and subsequent split from the baby’s father, Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.
Ed is also said to be deeply worried about his former lover. A friend of the musician told Britain’s Look magazine: “Hearing what Lily got up to in Cannes made Ed worried for her. He adores Lily and feels she has a lot of demons to sort out. She is not ready to settle down with anybody, let alone him.â€
A spokesperson for Lily denied the claims, insisting: “She is back in London and feeling great. She is about to go back into the studio and work on her new album.â€
Former Velvet Revolver front man Scott Weiland has recently been sentenced to jail following his DUI arrest in November 2007. The singer was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol with prior conviction. He must now serve 192 hours, which translates to 8 days, in county jail. Scott has just until Wednesday, May 28th, to serve his sentence. He must also complete an 18-month alcohol program and will also be put on a 4 year summary probation. The singer also has to pay about $2,000 in fines. These are the few times that rock stars would want to be more like Paris Hilton in order to get out of jail early.
Steve-O, star of Jackass, was hospitalized earlier this month for a 72 hour psychiatric hold. That hold was later extended. He is opening up now about the alcoholism that has a grip on his life.
In his MySpace blog, he talks about the alcoholism of his mother and how that has affected him. He said, “I know I was always powerless over alcoholism, because it had such a grip on Mom’s adulthood and my childhood, and I never chose to fight it.”
He even describes being given alcohol as a baby. He says, “before Mom and Dad would find themselves in the embarassing position of being caught by other passengers with a crying baby, I was fed alcohol.”
He says he has forgiven his mother and hopes he can forgive himself. He talks of his drug use and says it caused “a great deal of damage to my brain and now that they’ve all worn off, I’m facing the consequences.”
Apparently driving while intoxicated runs in the family. Paris, you should be proud. You trained little bro Barron Hilton well.
The youngest Hilton, age 18, decided to be like big sis Tuesday morning. He was arrested around 8:04 a.m. for driving under the influence and for possession of a fake driver’s license. Before his $20,000 bail was finally posted, he spent an entire day in jail.
Not only was he under the influence for having drank alcohol as a minor, but he was well over the .08 legal limit.
His father’s response? “I haven’t been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say – but it will be to my son, not the media.”
If you can keep all the Britney stories straight, you’ll remember that sources on the scene of her standoff said she appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. We all did a collective head nod because we figured as much.
Well, sources now say that once she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, she tested free of any drugs or alcohol. The unnamed informant said, “This lady is clean as clean can be, and has been for some time.â€
So, I guess since there wasn’t any substance in her, it was just plain crazy that made her do what she did. Other sources who are close to the Spears family believe that Britney actually suffers from an undiagnosed case of bipolar disorder.
Yikes! An accident is bad enough; a death is horrific.
Back in October, 89-year-old Warren Gates allegedly didn’t yield to oncoming traffic and ran into a car driven by former TV host Gary Collins. While it was stated that the wreck was the fault of Gates, Collins was charged with a DUI.
Gates has been hospitalized since the accident and sources say he passed away on Friday. According to police officer Ana Aguirre, “It’s up to the coroners to determine whether Mr. Gates died as a result of trauma from the accident. There’s going to be a follow-up investigation after the autopsy is completed.”
Collins pled no contest to the DUI and will serve four days in jail.
Sad…so sad. Really, they should institute a maximum driving age or at least administer driving tests again.
After their London show on Saturday, the Take That boys decided to treat themselves to a well earned lads night out and hit a club.
And why not they are still hot-blooded males after all. The usual can be said for the evening. Their was dancing (Jason) and drinking of many beers (Howard) and all were pretty well behaved and seem to have had a very enjoyable evening. Fair play to them.
Meanwhile, whilst his fellow band mates were partying, Gary Barlow could be found sitting in the corner. Drinking Coffee. At 1am.
Errm Gary what happened to Take That and Party? Perhaps he’s getting boring in his old age.
