The American Idol star apparently hinted in a recent interview that one of his songs would make a good track for a certain vampire-based movie soundtrack. This is what Adam Lambert said about his song, “Suburban Decay”: “It’s a great song and I hope to perform it someday, nad i think it will find a home, on a soundtrack or something…maybe ‘Twilight’. It just didn’t quite fit [in my album]. It’s very theatrical. Hey, ‘Eclipse’ … Want my song? It’s kind of about vampires.” Given the title, one would think that Adam Lambert’s song is actually more fitted to a horror/comedy movie with soccer-mom zombies… but, given the concept of “vampires” in the “Twilight” saga, Adam Lambert’s song might be just what they need.

Forget the so-called controversy regarding the votes, America really does love Kris Allen more than they do Adam Lambert. The two singers both released their version of the Kara DioGuardi song ‘No Boundaries’ as their official first singles and the American Idol champ is outselling his runner up by a mile. According to Soundscan, Kris is leading Adam by over 100,000 copies sold this past week. The exact tally sees Kris selling 134,458 copies and Adam only selling 35,984. Considering that Kris’ version really was the more superior of the two, I’m not at all surprised that Adam is getting beat.
