Jordan gets married in quickie Vegas ceremony
Glamour model Jordan has wed her boyfriend Alex Reid – in a quickie Las Vegas ceremony.
Just days after cage fighter Reid won the reality show Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, the couple flew into Sin City.
Within hours of arriving, they had applied for a wedding licence and were spotted shopping for wedding rings.
They tied the knot in a ceremony at the Wynn Hotel – as a camera crew filmed the entire event.
And while Jordan – real name Katie Price – and Reid were quick to declare “we are very much in love”, her PR took no time in issuing another statement claiming they had married without a media deal in place.
The couple issued a joint statement after their wedding, saying: “We look forward to the future together. We can’t wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who fully support our wishes.”
And Jordan’s agent insisted: “Katie and Alex are delighted to announce they got married in a private, simple ceremony.
“Their decision to marry has not been made with any media deal in place. It is purely down to their love for each other.”
The couple are reported to be staying at the Planet Hollywood hotel in Vegas where rooms can cost up to $10,000 a night.
According to a report in The Sun newspaper, the happy couple enjoyed champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries before being driven 500 yards to the rose-strewn chapel.
