Farrah Fawcett’s son Redmond O’Neal faces six years in prison after drug arrest

Late TV icon Farrah Fawcett’s troubled son Redmond O’Neal is facing up to six years in prison after being arrested on a drugs charge while on a day pass from a rehab centre.
Farrah’s son with Ryan O’Neal was arrested on December 29 on his first pass from the court-ordered drug rehab.
He now faces up to six years in prison because his latest arrest violates the probation terms of a previous drug offence.
Staff at a drug and alcohol treatment centre are said to have noticed a difference in Redmond, 24, after he returned from the 24-hour pass.
He was arrested on a felony charge.
Redmond had been clean for six months after battling drug problems for years.
He was ordered back to a detention center in Pasadena, California, for at least 30 days to “focus on relapse prevention” when he appeared in court on Tuesday.
The judge told how Redmond had written him a “rather thoughtful letter” in which he mentioned “pride and how proud your family, friends, and girlfriend are of you and then you let them down”.
Redmond was ordered into rehab in September from a prison term stemming from his arrest for possession of a controlled substance.
