Boy George offered 400,000 to star in Celebrity Big Brother
DJ Boy George has revealed he was offered £400,000 to star in Celebrity Big Brother.
The 48-year-old, who lost a High Court battle to be part of the show, said: “Big Brother would have been a good earner as I was being offered £400,000 and my ability to work has been restricted for the past two years. But there’s much more to life than money.”
George lost his appeal against a Probation Service ban on him appearing in the Channel 4 show. He is on licence after serving four months of a 15-month jail term for handcuffing and beating male escort Auden Carlsen.
George said: “Now the decision has been made in the High Court, I am more than happy to accept it.”
