Hugh Hefner has said his wife’s lawsuit against him will be moot.

Hugh’s estranged wife Kimberley Conrad has filed a US$5 million lawsuit against him and Hugh has responded by saying that once the divorce is finalised, Kimberley’s civil suit against him will be moot.

Conrad sued Hef, 83, because he gave her nine months to vacate a home next to the Playboy Mansion that she has lived in since they split, forcing Hef to finally file for divorce.

The court documents state: “The only remaining piece of the civil action is Mrs. Hefner’s claim for reimbursements for the monies expended on the Mapleton property. The Court in the Dissolution Action will have to decide each party’s claims for reimbursements against each other. Once it makes that determination, her claims for “declaratory relief” and “damages” are moot.

“Again, contrary to Mrs. Hefner’s suggestion, interpretation of rights under prenuptial and separation agreements is the bread and butter of a family law action.”

Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs has spoken about his shock over pal Heath Ledger’s tragic death last year.

Isaacs, 46, who plays the role of Draco’s father Lucius Malfoy in the hit boy-wizard film series, starred alongside Ledger in the 2000 movie The Patriot.

Talking about the last time he saw the Dark Knight star before his death, in January 2008, Isaacs said: “The last time I saw Heath… he said: ‘I’m about to play The Joker.’

“I went: ‘Are you? Nightmare!’

“He said: ‘I know, I know.’

“I said: ‘Did you watch the other one?’

“He said: ‘No! I’ve got this notepad and I’m just writing down ideas.’”

The Brit actor added: “All of us who’d worked with him on The Patriot, when we heard the news, people who hadn’t spoken for years were phoning each other – we just wanted to somehow connect. He was a very sweet boy.”
