Madonna’s boyfriend unhappy with ex’s involvement in her life
Madonna’s boyfriend Jesus Luz has his nose out of joint over the role her ex-husband Guy Ritchie is taking on with the singer.
Since adopting four-year-old Mercy James, Madonna has been keen to keep Ritchie involved with the family. The Brit has been actively supporting the early bonding between the Malawian girl and her new mum. He was even invited to a party at Madonna’s house with mutual friends of the former couple.
A source said: “He goes to Kabbalah meetings with Madonna and the kids and he adores Mercy. It’s uncomfortable for Jesus having to be around Guy so much and very hypocritical – Madonna has banned Jesus from speaking to any of his ex-girlfriends.”
Luz met the singer on a photo shoot for W magazine in Rio de Janeiro last December.
Madonna’s eight-year marriage to Ritchie – in which she gave birth to one son, Rocco, and adopted an earlier African child, David – ended in 2008. The singer has a 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes, to her former lover Carlos Leon.
Luz, a model, recently completed work for international magazines and took part in a fashion show to benefit HIV research. He has been working out with a personal trainer for two hours a day in New York and training as a DJ.
