Scenes reportedly cut from new Bruno movie

Sacha Baron Cohen has made some alterations to his new movie Bruno before its worldwide release.
Following the death of Michael Jackson, Cohen cut a scene in which LaToya Jackson spoke about her brother.
The cut had to be hastily made before the Los Angeles premiere of Bruno, which was untimely for Cohen.
But news of an earlier cut has now emerged after Hollywood writer-director Richard Day claims he protested after a February industry screening of the movie, although he says he is not sure his complaint led to the change.
In the original, Bruno’s lovesick assistant ends up in a wheelchair with brain damage as a result of homophobic violence but it appears that scene is no longer in the new cut of the movie.
Following a whirlwind promotional tour that took in the US, Europe and Australia, Bruno is set to open worldwide in the next week.
