Cheryl Cole’s brother retains his freedom
The Girls Aloud singer’s brother, Andrew Tweedy, who pleaded guilty to charges of assault, had his sentence of 36 weeks of prison time suspended for two years. Apparently Andrew Tweedy considers himself to be “the black sheep of the family” and he has good reason to: he missed Cheryl Cole’s wedding to Ashley Cole because he was in prison. He said: “I’ve told Cheryl she should be ashamed, but she says she’ll never give up on me.” It seems that not everyone considers Andrew Tweedy to be as black a sheep as he sees himself. Maybe this is the reason he got off from his sentence so easily… at least for the time being.
