Lindsay Lohan says split with Samantha Ronson is good for her

Lindsay Lohan is putting a brave face on her break-up with lover Samantha Ronson.
Lindsay Lohan, 22, spoke candidly with chat show host Ellen DeGeneres in her first television interview since splitting with Ronson, 31.
She told DeGeneres: “I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn’t been.” The interview is set to air today.
Despite pictures of the star looking painfully thin, Lindsay Lohan said she is doing fine.
She said of the split: “I think it’s been really good for me. I feel like I want to get my career back in shape. When people are together so much it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you’re more concerned about being with the other person.”
Lohan said she learned about the break-up when Ronson barred her from the “I Heart Ronson” bash on April 3 at Hollywood’s Bar Marmont, an event celebrating twin Charlotte Ronson’s clothing line.
“That whole night was just really tough and … it came out of nowhere,” Lohan said. “I had no idea what was going on. “I just hadn’t seen her in like, a week. She like, disappeared.”
The actress also revealed she was stunned when Ronson’s family visited a local police station to ask about a restraining order after the break-up.
