Lily Allen has admitted to buying her very own beach when she recently had an interview with a UK radio station. The sometimes singer and mostly nutcase said “I bought a beach! It’s in Jamaica, I’m not gonna tell you the road. I’m happy I bought the beach, best drunken buy ever!” It must be nice to be rich enough that you can buy a beach while you’re drunk. I bet it’s just a few feet of land though. As for other plans, Lily says that she plans to open up a clothing shop with her brother’s girlfriend saying “I’ve got a really good idea. Me and Jaime Winstone, we’re going to open up a fancy dress shop called Lucy in Disguise.”

Amanda Seyfried, who is the star of Mamma Mia! has piped actress Lindsay Lohan to bag the lead role for the movie adaptation of a play written by Oscar Wilde ‘A Woman Of No Importance’.

Lindsay Lohan who has starred in movies such the ‘Mean Girls’ was previously the frontrunner for the part that until 2006, but movie bosses have now decided on the name of Seyfried. Amanda Seyfried will turn the clock back in time for the upper-class comedy, set in Britain’s Victorian era.

Lindsay Lohan has blown all of her opportunities and chances…make room for someone else. Good one, Dutch. The sometimes lesbian is really slipping up on all things including life. Her professional career has come to a virtual halt and she bothers little it seems.

And in reality if the title of ‘A Woman Of No Importance’ suits anyone then it has to be Lindsay.

The actor from “Butterfly Effect” recently posted a direct verbal attack against his next door neighbor in the form of a video where he can be heard saying the following: “It’s 7.30am, and I gotta’ wake up in my bedroom to my fucking jackass neighbor doing this next to my porch! This is where my deadweed neighbor has decided to be building a house at 7am pounding on steel and welding right next to my friggin’ house! I woke up this morning to pounding, welding steel. I’m gonna’ lose it on this guy, I’m gonna lose it, I’m gonna lose it. This has been going on for four months now! This guy has got another thing comin.’” Temper, temper, now! I really don’t understand this: why does he post angry videos of himself on his blog, instead of just working out the problem with his neighbor.

Jennifer Love Hewitt believes in life after death and is very sure that she has made contact with her grandmother and says that she has even been able to speak to her from beyond the grave.

And to lay stake to her claim she says “We had an evening with James where he kind of did this thing, and my grandmother came through. She just wanted to say hello and tell me that she was looking out for me. It was really nice.”

Well I think she is a young lady and therefore I wouldn’t like to call her a wacky old lady who has lost her mind all of a sudden after seeing a young man dancing with her granddaughter but these sought of things are usually associated with people who have hurt by the loss of a loved one.

Hopefully Jennifer does not intrude too deep such thoughts and her mind does not sway so far that she starts speaking to her grandmother while traveling on an airplane.

Boy George’s prison sentence may have spelled the end for his career in the outside world but it surely proved how popular he was even among prisoners. The former Culture Club singer is apparently too popular even behind bars that he was given a break. Far from fears that he would be beaten when he enters the Pentoville prison in North London, Boy George was instead warmly welcomed by his fellow inmates. It turned out that most of the inmates were already of age when Boy George became popular so they remember him as a big star and treated him like royalty. Even prison officials have been so kind to give him cigarettes. No thanks to all the kindness, the singer was moved to another part of the jail.

Boy George, popularly known as George O’Dowd, is set to serve 15 months in prison for chaining Norwegian male escort Audun Carlsen in his East London apartment. Carlsen said he met Boy George online and was cajoled to pose for the singer. However, he said Boy George handcuffed him to a wall hook sometime in 2007 after the singer suspected him of accessing his computer files.

She is just the run of the mill Hollywood celebrity whose stay in the wilderness has been extended a bit too long to remember the last time when she was seen on the silver screen doing something thing we could refer to as acting.

But out of the blue there are reports that the sometimes lesbian actress is being considered to play the role of Snow White on the silver screen and if that happens to would be a huge boost for the beleaguered Hollywood actress. And reports are doing rounds that talks are already been held and the contenders for the role include Lindsay Lohan while Megan Fox and Miley Cyrus too are being considered for the part.

Please do not tell me that there is such dirt of good actresses in Hollywood that bosses of a film studio have to consider a druggie and completely useless actress like Lindsay. She can do parts where the requirement would be to slam a BMW or Porsche against the kinder garden school.

Kelly Osbourne has once again entered a voluntary medical facility a month after she was
arrested for assault. Kelly was placed in a rehabilitation facility in 2004 for her painkiller addiction.
Sharon Osbourne confirmed the news that her 24-year old daughter Kelly is now in a rehabilitation center but did not disclose the reasons for her confinement. She said the whole family is behind Kelly’s decision and they are proud of her decision to do the right thing. She will be treated at the facility for the next 30 days.

Kelly, who is engaged to model Luke Worral, was arrested last month after she slapped a gossip
journalist Zoe Griffin in a London nightclub but is out on bail. The slapping incident stemmed from
Griffin’s mockery of Worral in an article she wrote for the The Mirror, a United Kingdom
newspaper. Kelly accused Griffin of making her boyfriend Worral a laughing stock by writing about
Worral asking how an earthquake was caused. Scotland Yard would not release the names of
those involved in the slapping incident but a spokesperson confirmed the arrest of a 24-year old
woman on January 2 for common assault.

The leather suit that Kate Beckinsale wore in the “Underworld” movies will be put up for auction with all the profits going to the Entertainment Industry Foundation. It will be sold at Premiere Props in El Segundo. The Vice President of Marketing at Premiere Props said: “Fans and movie collectors will be truly amazed with the rare hero costumes and movie memorabilia from all three ‘Underworld’ movies that will be up for bid.” Oh yeah, time for some serious LARP-ing. That is, unless Kate Beckinsale decides maybe she wants to keep a bit of reminiscence from her vampire days in “Underworld”. Too bad she doesn’t have a part in the new one as well…

The actor form “Iron Man” apparently likes to google himself on the internet and see what people write about him. When asked about this, Robert Downey Jr. said: “Oh, I love all that shit, personally. Sorry. I just love it. Because it’s a hoot. Some people overstate their support, like they know you. Other people are busy doing something else and just want to go on this chat site and say some despicable character assassination, and sometimes they absolutely nail it! I do have that shortcoming. But it’s really fun.” And here I thought that the character assassination bit might be at least a bit chaffing. Ok, in that case… no more of it for Robert Downey Jr. … for now!

Lily Allen is finding herself in the middle of what many are calling the art world’s biggest divorce. According to reports, the 23-yer old singer’s New Year’s fling with 45-year old art mogul Jay Jopling will be costing him pretty dearly. Jopling’s separation with his soon-to-be ex wife, Brit artist Sam Taylor-Wood, was going pretty amicable until pictures of him and Lily hit the tabloids. Sources say that the affair devastated Sam. A source said “Sam could not believe it when Jay started dating Lily Allen. She thought it was below the belt as they had agreed neither of them would start dating until the dust had settled. Sam was livid because it really upset Angelica (their 11-year old daughter). She is at an age where she reads the papers and it was awful for her to have to go to school the next day. Sam also felt very publicly humiliated.”

Undoubtedly an interesting confrontation: Simon Cowell’s show, “American Idol”, apparently beat Barack Obama’s Inauguration Ball at ratings. The numbers are as follows: 12.5 rating/18 share for Simon Cowell’s crusade to create talent out of nothing and 9.4 rating/14 share for the new President’s big night. It must have been the republicans who were watching TV at the time and this why this little mishap occurred. It’s strange though since quite the number of celebrities were present at the event: Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Kanye West and so on. Makes you wonder…

This is the statement Amy Winehouse’s father has made recently about her recovery. Here are his exact words: “People don’t want her to get better. But she is better. They didn’t see her lying in bed for days in a dark room. She was close to death twice. We have been working a lot to get her to where she is right now.” Why did they keep her in a dark room? Was it so difficult to provide a little light? Also, Amy Winehouse apparently doesn’t want to leave the resort at St. Lucia where she has been staying the past weeks, even though she’s making life very difficult for other guests. Her father also had this to say about her supposedly trying to steal alcohol from other guests: “They were taken before I arrived here, but she says she was just having fun, pretending to be a horse.” Of course she was! Just like all full-minded people that are not under the effects of any substance like to spend their time. Pretending to be a horse? Jeesh…

The heat is on and Jeremy Piven’s mercury content is rising. This came after a grievance was filed against him by the producers of the Broadway show “Speed the Plow”. Piven ended his stint with the show abruptly after his doctor advised him to take a rest after registering a very high mercury count. Piven, who is fond of eating sushi, was given an option by his doctor though–to become a walking thermometer if he does not take a rest. The suit is both absurd and outrageous said Piven. A representative for Piven said Piven’s medical condition, which was well documented by several doctors, was the main reason why he had to quit the play. He had to take a rest or suffer the consequences of his condition including a heart attack.

Piven, who was hospitalized due to mercury poisoning while doing the show, suffered from spacial problems, extreme fatigue and a very low heart rate. Despite the seemingly valid reasons, the Broadway producers filed the complaint with the Actor’s Equity Union. Piven’s agent said the producers failed to have Piven checked by their own doctor although the opportunity was present. Their doctors would have corroborated the findings of Piven’s doctors. His representative said the grievance is ironic considering that it was Piven who had legal claims against them since he was not compensated for the show. The producers also defamed Piven in the media through their false accusations.

“Karma Chameleon” singer Boy George aka George O’Dowd has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for falsely imprisoning and beating a male escort. British court Judge David Radford said the attack against Audun Carslen by Boy George is not only “shocking and degrading” but is so serious that it justifies an immediate imprisonment sentence. The Judge also told Boy George that while the injuries inflicted on Carlsen were not serious and permanent the premeditated and humiliating incident degraded and traumatized him.

Earlier reports about the incident showed that the 47-year old singer attacked Carlsen after the latter allegedly hacked into his computer for the purpose of stealing some photographs. Carlsen said he met the Culture Club frontman through the Internet. He was later on hired by Boy George to pose for him. He said there was also another man present during the naked photo shoot and he helped beat him up while they were taking cocaine. Boy George, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, did not take the stand to defend himself during the trial.

As disastrous as it may sound, the notorious singer Lady Gaga has made such a socking statement: “Paris and Nicky Hilton went to my school. They’re very pretty, and very, very clean. It’s impressive to be that perfect all the time. In commercial terms, they’ve been quite an influence on me.” Clean? How can they be clean? Personally, I don’t know about Paris Hilton’s sister, but as for Paris: she’s infected to the marrow. But considering what Lady Gaga states about her music and it’s lyrical content, I may be able to understand how come Paris Hilton actually influenced her: “Even though I sing about panties and pornography and fame, I take it all very fucking seriously.”

Johnny Knoxville has the star of Jackass was at first frisked and then arrested at Los Angeles airport for reportedly carrying a fake grenade in his bag. During the screening of his luggage at the LAX Airport on Thursday (15.01.2009) security guards found something suspicious in his luggage.

When the security guards asked Johnny what the object was he said he had no clue so they had to open up the luggage and it happened to be a banned replica weapon, Knoxville was immediately detained, cited for carrying a “prohibited item” through an airport and released by police.

For a jackass stunt, stupid as it was, it was kinda lame. But then sometimes some idiotic people do the most stupid of things and pass a harmless kind of simple to say ‘hey where did this come from, I haven’t gotta clue – don’t look at me like this’.

Aubrey O’Day recently had an interview with MTV talking about her photo shoot with Playboy with famed photographer Markus Klinko. The singer insists that the only reason she agreed to pose was because of the photographer’s involvement and that they both wanted something that was “classy, iconic and truly beautiful”. Aubrey said “You could never imagine how empowering it is to be nude in front of cameras and have people looking at you in that way and seeing you as beautiful. Taking it all off and being nude is the most natural state that you can be in, and being able to feel comfortable with that and show that sex can be beautiful, comfortable … is going to be empowering for people.”

Johnny Wright, a former music manager for Britney Spears, recently spoke to OK! Magazine about the recovered pop princess. He said “A comeback is not what I wish for Britney. What I wish for her is to settle down and find real happiness. All her essential relationships have been torn apart. She’s been divorced twice, she doesn’t have custody of her kids, she’s being pushed back into being a money machine. I want her to be happy in her heart, then go back to the business because she wants to, not because people are convincing her she has to, or that it would be good therapy for her. It’s too soon for her to be a part of a manufactured machine that is pushing her to have to be a success.” I bet her current handlers aren’t happy about what he said.

The singer’s half-sister, Sarah Owen, recently declared in an interview that Lily Allen was so broken-down after her first relationship ended that she tried to kill herself: Aged 18, she tried to slit her wrists when her first relationship ended and she ended up in The Priory rehab clinic for four weeks. I had a big gang of friends but Lily was more of a loner. She had no-one to talk to about getting her first period or breaking up with her first boyfriend. Would it have been different if we’d been closer? Probably.” Interesting how singers who have songs like “Smile” have such an interesting background… I wonder how come she never got into doom metal or emo music.
