Prince and the rest of the Jehovah’s Witness folks in the world can no longer claim Michael Jackson as one of their own. Though I’m not sure they wanted to still. According to UK’s Sun, the dethroned King of Pop has converted to Islam. Jacko was shown the way to the religion by producer Phillip Bubal and songwriter David Wharnsby who have been helping the gloved one with his current stuff. A source told the paper “They began talking to him about their beliefs, and how they thought they had become better people after they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea. An Imam was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief.”

Sorry folks but contrary to what has been reported in the past days, Whitney Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Brown are not back in each others arms. This was confirmed by the “Bodyguard” singer herself who was so concerned about the reconciliation rumors that she took the time, through her representative Nancy Seltzer, to issue a disclaimer.

The “together again” bit was played up after they were spotted in several dinner dates and after this was reported by the Chicago Sun-Times. Houston and Brown have been married for 14 years but were divorced in 2007. Reports that their daughter Bobby Kristina, who lives with Houston, was so eager for them to remarry only fueled the rumors. But Whitney’s camp was quick to deny it, saying the rumors are completely fabricated.

Houston and Brown’s marriage was not made in heaven and was in fact very tumultuous with reports of drug and alcohol use involving both of them. Whitney has even undergone a rehabilitation program for drug addiction twice. Whitney is just one among the list of music legends who are featured in David Foster’s tell-all book.

A model whom the artist commissioned for a photo shoot has told the judges of a court how George is obsessed with spanking: “He wanted to slap my arse. A source said the following: “Russel is leading an amazing life in America at the moment. Girls are throwing themselves at him. He is in his element, making the most of all the attention. The Daily Mail is reporting that Kelly is now engaged. The daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne has been spotted sporting an engagement ring since September but she is yet to acknowledge it. Her boyfriend has blabbed about it though by changing his relationship status on Facebook to say that he’s engaged to Kelly Osbourne. Mom Sharon has given her approval to them dating back in July but there’s no word if she approves of the engagement.

The actor who voices the zebra Marty in the Madagascar movies says he would like to play a princess in a movie in order to impress his daughters: “I have two daughters, so the only way I can really impress them would be if I played a princess - so maybe that’s my next move.” He also said that he would like to work with comedian Russel Brand: “I would love to work with Russell Brand - he’s a pretty funny guy. He never returns my calls though. I think he’s too busy with the girls.” This sounds really promising, a black guy playing a princess and a womanizer acting gay. Would be a real hit comedy, but might not be that indicated for children.

Prince Abdulla Al-Khalif of Bahrain wants $6.5 million for an exclusive deal on an autobiography, 2 albums and a musical that Jacko never made good on. Back in 2006, the icon apparently signed a contract to produce material for Al-Khalif’s label. The prince even gave the singer a Rolls Royce, bailed out Neverland Ranch and even accommodated the singer for 6 months in Bahrain after his 2005 child molestation acquittal. However, Jacko claims that the money was a gift. He wishes!

Paris Hilton has been desperately trying to get her boyfriend, Benji Madden, back after they split up last week. She tracked him down to a club in Los Angeles Saturday night and she took Avril Lavigne along with her to confront him. Apparently somebody thought Benji should be warned and so he was. A source had this to say: “The minute he put the phone down he ran out of the club. They missed each other by a few seconds and Paris was absolutely devastated.” She most likely got her ego hurt since she didn’t get the chance to dump him and now she’s trying to repair this little misfortune.

We all remember how a tragic accident almost took the life of Travis Barker and now he’s doing something about it. He is filing a negligence lawsuit against the owners and makers of the Learjet that left four people dead and the former Blink 182 drummer, along with DJ AM, severely burnt.
AND RIGHTLY SO! Those people should take responsibility for what happened!
According to the recordings that were released by Federal Aviation Administration this week, the private jet had hit a speed of 153 mph when a tire blew. In which case, the pilots should’ve taken off and burnt the jet’s fuel; instead they drove off the runway. This is why he sues the company. E! News reports:
Per court documents filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Barker’s camp believes that “one or more of the tires failed, leaving tire debris and portions of airplane components along the 8,600 foot runway” and the pilot made a “negligent attempt to abort the takeoff.”
“The pilot’s decision was a breach of their duty owed to the passengers on board and was a substantial factor in causing the crash and resultant injuries and deaths,” the suit continues.
Moreover, the jet’s “landing gear, tires, wheels, brakes, reverse thrust system, squat switches and component parts were not airworthy.”
And there you have it folks, Travis Barker’s retaliation to the jet company.

Family members and other close by relatives have blasted Amy, this after they somehow found out that Amy had paid for her husband’s rehab stint.

Blake has just come out of prison after spending nearly a year behind the bars as he was convicted of charges for hitting a pub owner. His sentence was a little longer but he managed to strike a deal with the prosecutors where he is required to undergo drug treatment for his narcotics addiction. And that treatment was worth $44,700 and Amy has paid the bill on his behalf.

Tell you what two of these are no good and for me Amy is the bigger sinister here, Blake is the one who has brought about her downfall and got her into drugs and boozing and yet she doesn’t realize its time she moved on and resurrected her life. Both of them now firmly belong to the rehab and should stay there for good.

Every day there are reports of Amy in the pub drinking with friends, after gulping down such enormous amounts of alcohol who the hell can she manage to sing.

An eyewitness reveals that Lindsay was so “furious with what Sam had done. She launched herself at Sam in the lobby. She was spitting at her and clawing at her chest. She was fuming.”

UPDATE: Page Six reports Lindsay and Sam are now seeing a couples counselor because of the fight. HAHAHAHAHA. Seriously, Sam what are you getting from Lindsay. Is she paying you enough?

The actor who had the leading role in the movie “The Pianist” and played a homosexual in the 1997 movie, “The last time I committed suicide” is apparently a good supporter of the gay community. Apart from hanging out in gay bars from time to time, he would apparently be disappointed if gay men didn’t flirt with him. Maybe Mr. Brody took his role back in 1997 a little too seriously? Whatever the case, he supposedly became a bit uncomfortable with the questions he was being asked in the interview in which he made these statements. Now who in their right mind would say things like this to the press and then not expect them to get a bit nosey… my recommendation is to keep a baseball bat at hand if they get a bit to ambitious.

A misdemeanor charge has been formally filed by California prosecutors versus Heather Locklear barely two months after she was caught driving under the influence of prescription drugs with an arraignment scheduled on January 26, 2009. The former Melrose Place and Dynasty star is undergoing treatment for depression and anxiety. The 47-year old actress divorced with drummer Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi last year.

The actress was arrested by the California Highway Patrol last September after Locklear’s car was found blocking a highway lane. Locklear was found positive not of alcohol but of prescription medication. Reports indicate that former Us Weekly Magazine reporter Jill Ishkanian informed the police about the possibility of Locklear’s intoxication and got photos of the star when she was booked by the police.

In an unexpected twist of events, Ishkanian was accused of following up and setting up Locklear. Nick Tepper, Ishkanian’s lawyer, however denied there was a set-up and said his client’s reaction was the normal reaction of anyone who witnesses a similar incident. He said being a witness to the incident does not disqualify his client from reporting the story.

The incident prompted fans to comment that if it was Amanda Woodward (Locklear’s role in Melrose Place) who was caught under the influence, the case against her would have been dropped as she would probably sleep with the police and even the judge.
