Amy Winehouse is racing to get her new album ready for her husband’s release from jail.

Amy, 24, is pushing ahead in the studio to get her album finished in time for husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s homecoming – which could be at the end of this year.

A friend close to Amy said: “Now she has some kind of timescale for Blake’s release it has given her some focus. She wants something to impress him with because he has accused her of just sitting around doing nothing while he has been serving time.”

Amy is also planning to include a tribute to Blake on the album, and is planning to write “For my Blakey X” on the sleeve, possibly even using it as a song title.

Blake is currently in HMP Edmunds prison in Suffolk, serving time for grievous bodily harm (GBH) and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

He was sentenced to 27 months in July, but could be out by December 30 for time already served and good behaviour.

Sayed Rahman, an employee of Spotlight Live, the karaoke club that hosted Lil Kim’s birthday celebration, confessed to the murder of party goer Ingrid Rivera. Rahman apparently killed Rivera after she turned down his sexual advances. A drunken Rivera was supposedly kicked out of the party. Rahman then lured her to the roof of the club claiming that he’d be able to get her back into the party if she followed him and that was where he killed her and hid her body in a storage closet. Now that her killer has been found, I hope Ingrid will be able to rest in peace and that Sayed will be brought to justice.
