His jail mates better watch what they say as their conversations may be recorded for snitching purposes. While waiting to find out his legal fate last year, Pearlman listened in on another inmate’s chat and put together a dossier that implicated the inmate in a cop killing. The Orlando Sentinel reports how Pearlman took detailed notes and even drew diagrams that could be useful in the cops’ investigation of inmate Davin Smith. Pearlman’s compiled evidence was revealed in court on Tuesday and the trial begins in November.

Crazytown front man Shifty Shellshock might have taken his band’s name seriously as the singer has allegedly run away from his reality TV show. While shooting scenes for ‘Sober Living’ on Friday night at GOA nightclub, he skipped out on production and left the cast high and dry. He then posted a video on his MySpace page on Saturday night saying he was checking himself into rehab. Shifty has apparently checked into the Pasadena Recovery Center after a major drug binge. He probably used the money VH1 paid him to be part of the show. As for the show itself, producers are shooting all the drama but haven’t said whether they’ll use it on the show.

Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital last night after collapsing from a suspected drug overdose.

Paramedics spent 40 minutes at her London home after she suffered convulsions, while police were also in attendance to clear waiting paparazzi. Amy was then carried out on a stretcher, covered with a blanket and wearing an oxygen mask. Her father Mitch accompanied her and tried to play down the incident, claiming: “She’s fine; she just mixed up her medication.”

However, a medical source said: “An ambulance was called to a priority call involving a drugs overdose.”

A fan outside the singer’s home, Danny Saunders, is quoted as saying: “Amy was surrounded by police and wheeled to an ambulance. One of my friends said to Amy’s father, ‘Will she be all right?’ He said, ‘Yes, she’ll be fine’ but he looked upset. Amy didn’t make a sound. We’re all really worried.”

Mitch later visited Amy at London’s University College Hospital. Asked how she was, the former taxi driver held up two bags of food and said: “This is how serious it is — I’m bringing her some Kentucky Fried Chicken.”

Amy’s spokesman Chris Goodman also claimed the collapse was as a result of medication problems. He said: “She suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to hospital this evening. Doctors have advised she will be kept under observation over night and is likely to be released on Tuesday.”

A spokeswoman for the hospital said the 24-year-old was “bearing up well”.

Another rapper is in trouble (again) as Gucci Mane was busted on Wednesday during a traffic stop. Atlanta police stopped the rapper for speeding. After a search of the car, they uncovered a small amount of marijuana and a gun. The rapper, whose real name is Radric Davis, went to the Henry County Jail and was booked under charges of DUI and possession of pot. He was released a couple of hours later after posting $3,300 bond. Gucci spent time in jail before after beating promoter with a pool cue. He was charged with homicide not long after doing time but the charges were dropped.

Superstar hip hop producer is going to be homeless sooner rather than later. His bank moved earlier this month to foreclosure on his $10 million Miami home. The bank loaned him money so he could buy the 10-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion which he reportedly hasn’t made monthly payments for most of this year. He has also been sued by an electric company for $11,215 as well as a security system installer for $17,151. He was worth around $70 million as late as last year. It looks like his penchant for high rolling has backfired on him. Storch has been known to drive around his area in Rolls-Royces or Ferraris.

Rapper Lil Scrappy allegedly lived up to his name recently. The rapper, an associate in the Lil Jon crew, was nabbed by DeKalb County cops last Friday afternoon after allegedly tussling with and stabbing his sister’s boyfriend. Scrappy, whose real name is Darryl Richardson, stayed in the cell until the weekend when he was released on $1,500 bail. He was charged with felony use of a weapon and possession of marijuana which was found by cops while doing a search of his car. According to reports, the rapper’s victim did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.

Rapper DMX has been arrested on suspicion he gave a false name to get out of paying for hospital medical expenses, it has been reported.

County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the star told Mayo Clinic in Arizona that his name was Troy Jones and failed to pay a $7,500 bill in April.

The star- whose real name is Earl Simmons - was arrested at a shopping centre in Phoenix on Saturday. The 37-year-old’s lawyer Cameron Morgan declined to comment.

In May he was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and drug possession after 12 apparently neglected dogs were found. Several weapons and unspecified illegal drugs were also seized by police.

Earlier this month the musician and actor was arrested in Arizona after failing to appear in court, pay outstanding fines and for driving without a licence.

The musician has sold over 20m albums as one of the most popular stars of hip-hop in the US. The cover of his last album, Year of the Dog… Again, which came out in 2006, featured him with a pit bull straining at the leash.

Nate Dogg was recently in a Compton courthouse on a slew of charges where the judge remanded him to custody pending bail. The rapper, whose real name is Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, remained in a wheelchair for the entire proceeding. Bail was set at $100,000 and he’ll remain in custody until bond has been posted. Nate pleaded not guilty to felony charges. On top of that, a protective order was issued against the rapper where he was ordered to stay 100 yards away from his ex LaToya who claimed that he was following her dangerously down a highway. Not long after the hearing, Nate posted bail and is now out of custody.

The British media has reported that Amy Winehouse chose to ditch a Nelson Mandela photo call on Thursday so she could hang out with her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil. While we wait for actual reviews of how she was on the actual show, sources who were present during Wino’s rehearsal for the concert in London’s Hyde Park say that she sang the song ‘Free Nelson Mandela’ and sounded quite good. If that’s the case, then I guess there’s still some room left for us to keep hoping that she’s going to get better. But like I always say when it comes to Wino, don’t hold your breath.

It’s being said that the inmate has been exchanging pictures of his wife for drugs. In return for the pictures, he is given a ‘Joey’ – slang for a hit of heroin worth a few pounds. “He’ll take orders from other inmates then ask Amy to bring in signed photos of herself during visits. He usually gets her to write a little personalized note to make it look authentic. Once he’s back on the wing he’ll swap these for Joeys.” It seems he has no trouble in cashing in on his wife’s fame.

Rihanna was spotted playing a game of ten-pin bowling with friends at the Bloomsbury Lanes recently. During her night out bowling, Rihanna dished that she’s a big art collector saying “I’m not a big spender, but I do like to buy art. My favorite canvas is a Ronnie Wood one. The ‘Mean Girls’ star avoids sunbathing because of her pale skin and freckles, but is now worried about the vast amount of money she has splashed out on spray tans and home tanning products.

A source close to the actress said: “Lindsay has had a reality check - she’s not getting offers like she used to. She’s definitely thinking she needs a big blockbuster just so she can go back to living comfortably.”

Among Lindsay’s other expenses are a reported $1 million on hotels - in particular a $2,700-a-night suite at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont hotel where she lived for over a year - and more than $315,000 on her two visits to rehab last year to seek help for drink and drug addictions.

Actress-and-singer Lindsay is now considering releasing her own range of leggings, after her most recent movies ‘I Know Who Killed Me’ and ‘Georgia Rule’ flopped.

Sisqo can’t even get arrested these days and have anyone take notice. It turns out that the rapper, whose real name is Mark Althavan Andrews, was arrested for DUI way back in December. According to court records, no one was hurt and he was wearing his seatbelt. He was sentenced to probation and was fined $1700. His arrest was leaked out by a caller to Mix 106.5 in Baltimore earlier this week. You know it’s bad when over half a year passes before anyone even starts to care. And that’s just one person. If I hadn’t found the piece of news funny, I would have just ignored it too.

Seems Andy was arrested at a Buffalo Wild Wings for being drunk and causing a disturbance.  When cops arrived, a 17 year old in a truck, along with witnesses, also told them that he has sexually assaulted her.

Seems when he walked out of the restaurant, Andy grabbed the girl, pulling down her tank top and bra, and exposed her breasts.  Friends then took him to a truck which cops pulled over moments later in a Sam’s Club parking lot.  He was extremely intoxicated and also had marijuana and Xanax on him.

He’s in a mess of trouble.

As scary as it is for me to say, Hulk Hogan just can’t get enough of his daughter’s scantily clad body. The Rolling Stones guitarist received a furious voicemail message from Jo Wood, his wife of 23 years, saying she no longer wants to be with the rocker following his alleged affair with 19-year-old Russian Ekaterina Ivanova.

A source said: “It has sunk in he has had an affair and she feels betrayed. They had such a strong marriage. He’s thrown it all away with his stupid behaviour.”
