Drug charges dating back to 2000 have been dropped against Whitney Houston.

The singer was alleged to have been in the possession of marijuana at an airport in Hawaii when she was arrested. It was alleged that she tried to dispose of the drug before boarding an aircraft at Keohole-Hona airport en route to San Francisco.

In February, a counselor reported that the singer was clean and does not require any further treatment for drug abuse.As a result, all charges relating to the 2000 incident have been cleared.

Rapper Uncle Murda was arrested at LAX last week for having a fake ID. Now why would anyone over 21 years old have a fake ID on him, to look younger? Airport security pulled the rapper out of line for having a suspicious looking ID. Law enforcement sources say that Uncle Murda paid $500 for a phone card. If you ask me, he could have saved $450 if he just made the trip to downtown LA. The rapper was later taken to the police station where he was cited and released. He has a court date scheduled for June 4.

ANGELINA JOLIE hangs out at a drugs den — in a grainy video of the Hollywood babe before she spectacularly turned her life around.

Rocker Scott Weiland checked into a California prison on Monday (May 12) to serve eight days for his second drink driving conviction.

The former frontman of rock band Velvet Revolver was arrested on November 11 for DUI and was sentenced on April 28.

Weiland, who has recently reunited with his old band the Stone Temple Pilots, was ordered to serve eight days jail, complete an alcohol education program and was fined $2,000.

Actress Liv Tyler and her rocker husband Royston Langdon have reportedly called their 5-year marriage off. It’s not bad. 5 years seems to be about the average length of a Hollywood marriage. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family’s privacy be respected at this time.” Their privacy is granted. DMX was driving so fast on an Arizona highway that it took more than three months for cops to catch up to the rapper. Scottsdale police finally arrested DMX at his home earlier this week after they claim that he broke 100 MPH at three separate checkpoints back in January. The rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, faces charges of racing on a highway, reckless driving, two counts of endangerment, three counts of criminal speed and driving on a suspended license. Ratings for the once popular Disney show ‘Hannah Montana’ are down which should make Disney quite upset that their cash flow is dwindling to a trickle. Don’t blame Vanity Fair though as there are reports that indicate that the show has been on a decline even before her scandal. According to the Nielsen Company, the audience for Sunday’s new ‘Hannah Montana’ episode fell 14% from the previous fresh episode which aired less than 2 months earlier. Compared to the first original show of the year which aired in January, viewers for Sunday’s show went down 26%. If that’s the case, there’s really no one to blame but Miley.

Rich apparently just broke up with his girlfriend and decided to use the dating site because some of his friends have had success with it. For the second year in a row, South Korean actor and singer Rain beat out Stephen Colbert in Time Magazine’s Poll Results of the most influential people. They only came in at number 2 and 3 this year though as compared to last year’s number 1 and 2 spots. This year’s top spot went to Shigeru Miyamoto, the video game designer who created Mario, Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda. At 25 years old, Rain is already training a successor to his own Asian pop company. He may be a Hollywood upstart and we may not understand what he sings in his songs but the boy has got some power under his wing. At the rate he’s going, he might retire at age 35.

Major drama doesn’t just happen between Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. It extends to their 15-year old Bobbi Kristina too. The National Enquirer is reporting that the teenager tried to stab her mom during a heated argument and then attempted to kill herself by slashing her wrists. Family member Ann Davis told The Enquirer that it was a few days after Bobbi Kristina’s 15th birthday when the incident happened. According to other sources, the suicide attempt landed Bobbi Kristina in a psychiatric ward in Atlanta. The poor kid, all those things she saw go down with her mom and dad must have done some major damage on her. I hope she’s doing better now.

Former Velvet Revolver front man Scott Weiland has recently been sentenced to jail following his DUI arrest in November 2007. The singer was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol with prior conviction. He must now serve 192 hours, which translates to 8 days, in county jail. Scott has just until Wednesday, May 28th, to serve his sentence. He must also complete an 18-month alcohol program and will also be put on a 4 year summary probation. The singer also has to pay about $2,000 in fines. These are the few times that rock stars would want to be more like Paris Hilton in order to get out of jail early.

Lindsay Lohan is trying her best to make it big again. Since the acting thing didn’t work, she’s going back to making music as part of Motown. Yes, I said Motown. Lindsay is going to partner up with Snoop Dogg, Pharrell and Timbaland for her third album in hopes that the record will turn out good. As for her track with Snoop, insiders are saying that the song is amazing. Who’s willing to bet that those insiders are Lindsay and Dina Lohan? In other news, Lindsay’s little sister Ali is also in the studio recording an album for Interscope via Maloof Music.
