As the inquest into the death of Daniel Stern continues, shocking testimony comes out about alleged pictures taken by Howard Stern after Daniel died.

The Associated Press has reported that testimony from G. Ben Thompson, who dated Anna Nicole Smith, told of how Howard took pictures of dead Daniel Stern in the bed. Howard reportedly said they “might be worth some money one day”. Thompson said, “I was totally shocked he was taking pictures of a dead child laying in that bed.”

Daniel Stern died of a drug overdose. Thompson’s son also testified that Howard disposed of two white pills that were found in Daniel’s pockets. According to Howard’s camp, these are lies spread by the Thompson family to get back at Howard for a dispute over Anna Nicole’s mansion in Nassau.

Lily Allen has decided she wants to try for another baby following her miscarriage earlier this month. The ‘Smile’ singer was left devastated after the tragic outcome of a surprise pregnancy with Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons. Although it wasn’t planned, both Lily and Ed had become excited at the thought of becoming parents.

A source said, “She still wants a baby with Ed. They will try again. She was shocked when she found out she was pregnant. She has always been maternal. She thought it was cool to be dating one of the Chemical Brothers and would love to have his baby.”

Lily, 22, is said to be concerned about the impact the miscarriage could have on her relationship with 37-year-old Ed. The source added: “She really needs Ed at the moment after everything they’ve been through. But she is afraid her neediness may put the relationship under pressure.”

Soon after her pregnancy was announced, Lily revealed she was looking forward to a “stable” family life. She said: “I’ve looked forward to being stable my whole life. I have my eyes on the prize - having kids, getting married, cooking dinner and doing homework with my children.”

No we have resurrected Hollywood star and legend Marilyn Monroe, nothing quite that extreme. Amy Winehouse’s situation may be dire but it’s not come to that yet.

However Marilyn is aiding the singer whilst in rehab – through her movies. Amy’s love of the tragic 1950s icon, who died of an overdose of sleeping pills at the age of 36, is the only thing that is making her smile in the hospital. Her father Mitch said, “Amy is very ill and is suffering horrific withdrawal symptoms - shivering and constantly throwing up. Her body is expelling all the rubbish. One thing helping Amy is her Marilyn Monroe movies. Amy loves Some Like It Hot. She’s a huge fan of Monroe and thinks she’s wonderful.”

After famously singing “No No No” to treatment, Amy is reported to be doing very well in rehab. Cabbie Mitch said that doctors were very pleased with her progress. He added: “Amy’s battling bravely against addiction. She’s had no visitors because we didn’t want her to get emotional. Hopefully doctors will let us see her today. She’s compliant and follows everything they tell her ”

But then if Amy was to attempt to leave she could be sectioned under the Mental health Act. According to sources a patient can be held if two doctors and a close relative feel they are a threat to themselves; and Mitch was considering it before her binge was filmed and released.

A pal said: “If she quits she’ll find herself turned around and walked straight back in - against her will.”

It seems to be an ongoing trend these days – celeb men believe that abstaining from sex is a form of detox or something. Last week was hunky actor Matthew McConaughey ‘fasting’ twice a year to stay sane.

Next on the abstinence table is rocker Lenny Kravitz. Despite having dated Nicole Kidman and having been linked to Madonna and Penelope Cruz – the 43 year-old insists he will abstain until he remarries.

Lenny, who split from wife Lisa Bonet in 1991, claims he has been celibate for three years already. He says, “It’s just a promise I made. It’s where I’m at in life. The women have got to come with something else, not just the body, but the mind and spirit.”

The Are You Gonna Go My Way singer added: “It trips them out - but I’m looking at the big picture.”

Apparently, I’m not the only one who thinks that Courtney Love’s new hair do is hysterical and a bigger mess than she is. Courtney herself thinks so too! After a picture of the rocker and her butchered bangs went online, the babbling blonde posted a rambling MySpace post about it blaming her stylist for the catastrophe saying “so i was on the phone and i said i wanted pretty short bangs - not NO bangs and she cut them when i was on the phone with one of these whakcjob banks.”

Scott Hamilton and his wife Tracie welcomed their second son Monday at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Maxx was born at 7:51 a.m., weighing 7 lbs., 8 oz, and measuring 20 inches. Big brother Aidan is 4 years old.

If you don’t know who Scott Hamilton is, he won the gold medal at the Sarajevo Olympics in 1984. He was a championship figure skater and has served as a commentator for many events. He also played a skating announcer in the movie Blades of Glory.

Even though we all know that Will Ferrell does the best President Bush impersonation, director Oliver Stone didn’t want him for the upcoming film Bush. Maybe he didn’t want a funnyman taking part in what is slated to be a film that delves deep into personal issues and things in the president’s life.

Standing by his decision to instead cast Josh Brolin, Oliver Stone said, “Josh is actually better looking than Bush, but has the same drive and charisma that Americans identify with Bush.”

He goes on to say that the movie will show us “how did Bush go from an alcoholic bum to the most powerful figure in the world?”

At least we get to look at someone hot while we ponder that and issues surrounding the war.

The brains behind “Alvin and the Chipmunks” has reportedly been had by Capitol Records and now they’re filing suit. A lawsuit has been filed by Bagdasarian Productions against Capitol saying that the record company used a number of Chipmunk songs without permission. In 1968, creator Ross Bagdasarian made an agreement with Capitol stating that they had recording rights to the music and that’s it. Capitol allegedly pilfered the music by making money in movies and other ventures outside the recording industry.

Why take so long to sue? According to the suit, shortly after Ross made the agreement, he moved on from the project and then died suddenly in 1972. The family only saw the agreement in 2007.

Evan Rachel Wood and her shock rocker boyfriend whom she stole from Dita Von Teese, Marilyn Manson, were spotted as they caught a flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The pair brought along their pet cat, a very weird looking one at that. I’m talking about the cat here and not the fact that Marilyn looks creepier without make up on.

The 20-year old Evan and the 39-year old first met each other on the set of their upcoming horror film ‘Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll’, which will come out later this year. Let me guess, Marilyn is the horror part.

Hmm when you look at stars like Craig David you imagine they have their dating techniques down to a fine art. Good looking, talented, not to mention rich, we all assume that the girls are falling at their feet. We could be right, but for Craig his mystery girl wasn’t in sight.

So to solve the problem he sent a singing orange midget – just like the characters from the book and film ‘Charlie & the Chocolate Factory’ – to serenade the girl at her home in North West England.

A source said, “”Craig had been desperately trying to woo this girl. “He is obsessed with ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and he sent a singing Oompa Loompa to her and her mum’s house with an especially composed tune about how much he wanted to go out with her. And it worked! Craig was waiting down the end of her road in a limousine filled with balloons, and he took her to his favourite restaurant Pizza Express.”

American Idol returned to the television airwaves on Tuesday with its worst premiere in four years. The season premiere’s ratings were down 13% from last year and down 10% from 2006. Maybe Chris Daughtry’s rant on his launch pad has some merit after all.

But to Idol fans out there, don’t fret so much. The show is not completely dead as it was still the most watched show on TV Tuesday night. However, the decline in viewers does not bode well for the aging show. It’s only downhill from here. The winner for this season should just head to Broadway immediately than risk being dropped like his or her predecessors.

So, she finally showed…and then left.

Britney Spears was not legally required to attend today’s hearing regarding custody of her two sons, but her legal team “strongly advised” that she be there. She originally had no intentions of going, but she showed up around 1:15 pm.

Reports say her car pulled into the garage, and she got out for just a few seconds and then jumped back in the car after being surrounded by photographers. She said, “I’m scared. I want to get in the car. I’m going in the car.” When police tried to convince her to come out with them, she reportedly slammed her back against the seat and screamed, “No!”

The result of the hearing was that K-Fed gets to keep the kids without any visitation from Britney for the time being. His lawyer says that he hopes to have her involved in the parenting sometime in the future.

I know I know. What did I tell you? 2008 is set for a baby boom. The celebrities alone are seeing to that at the moment. You lot are probably a bit sick of me gushing about a new pregnancy in the world of showbiz. But being a pregnant woman myself I can’t help it.

Celeb in question today is Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey. It seems that the reported fasting taken on board by Matthew twice a year obviously wasn’t happening in the past few months…as he claims that sex is one of the things he gives up. Instead we can announce that the recently voted “sexiest man alive” is to become a father for the first time.

He and Brazilian girlfriend Camilla Alves are said to be “excited” by the news.

All bets are off as we all wait on tenterhooks to see whether troubled singer Britney will show up in court today. It is the first custody hearing since her face off with the police last week; where she was stripped of all visitation rights when she refused to hand over the tots to ex Kevin Federline.

If she does not show up Britney risks losing her kids for good.

Mark Kapolan, Federline’s lawyer, said, “I don’t know if she will be there. You can’t phone this one in. She will have the opportunity to persuade the court that she can have some visitation under monitored conditions. The emergency court orders granting sole physical and legal custody to my client are only temporary. These are very, very draconian orders. Because of that the court wanted to have a hearing to give her and her attorneys the opportunity to refute some of the declarations. No judge likes making orders terminating a person’s involvement with their kids.”

Kevin has had full custody of the boys since October when Britney failed to attend a court-ordered drugs test.

We shall just have to wait and see…

The newly blonde Amy Winehouse, or as some now take to calling her, Albino Wino, was out and about in London on Thursday and she seemed to be in a happy mood because she was chatty with the paparazzi.

The alcohol and drug-plagued singer looked happy and healthy. She even said that “I’m a lot better.” She also spoke of her holiday in the Caribbean saying “I went away to get off drugs, you know?” Honey, it’s going to take more than a vacation to quit heroin and all that stuff you do. But kudos to you for trying or at the very least putting on a good face.

Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez have reunited. They two have put their differences aside and are back together to finish where they left off as they share the stage once again. I’m not even sure why I’m writing this since I doubt he’s relevant any more but he still has a few fans out there.

Joining Twiggy and Manson on stage for the US leg of the Rape of the World Tour will be Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday and Ginger Fish. Tim Skold has split with Manson but it’s amicable and neither camp is ruling out future collaborations. The tour will go on from January to February.

Best known as the one person in the world who would cry out for Britney, Chris Crocker shocked us all by begging us all, via YouTube, to just leave Britney alone. Now, though, he’s screaming a different story.

He says, after Britney’s recent standoff and erratic behavior, “Britney needs to not be left alone right now. I think if everyone left her alone, she could do some major damage to herself.” He is afraid now that if no one reaches out to help her, it could be the beginning of her demise.

Chris begs, “The people close to her, they need to help her at this time. Rally together and do what they can to save her life.”

If you can keep all the Britney stories straight, you’ll remember that sources on the scene of her standoff said she appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. We all did a collective head nod because we figured as much.

Well, sources now say that once she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, she tested free of any drugs or alcohol. The unnamed informant said, “This lady is clean as clean can be, and has been for some time.”

So, I guess since there wasn’t any substance in her, it was just plain crazy that made her do what she did. Other sources who are close to the Spears family believe that Britney actually suffers from an undiagnosed case of bipolar disorder.

Maybe Dr. Phil will diagnose and fix her.

Probably the one of the most bizarre Christmas gifts was the one between Peter Andre and his wife Jordan. Widely publicised; she knew exactly what Santa was bringing her this year.

The massive breast reduction from 32FF to 32D was the only scheduled surgery. And when she returned from Los Angeles last month her spokeswoman denied rumours that Jordan – real name Katie Price – had had any other cosmetic alterations, despite her lips seeming plumper and her skin tauter.

Recent snaps of Katie also seem to contradict this claim; breast size isn’t the only reduction she seemed to be sporting. Take a look at the before and after pictures and see that she seems to have downsized and straightened her nose too.

Whether this was part of Peter’s gift is unsure…maybe he’s playing at ‘design your own wife’; who knows?

It seems X-Factor winner Leon Jackson has greedy agents. If you want him to sing at your club you will be asked to fork out a whopping £25,000 for him to perform just three songs.

This has got one Glasgow club boss fuming. Carlo Citti, manager of Glasgow club Campus explained, “ I couldn’t believe it when they asked me to fork out £25,000 for him to play my club on December 27 or Hogmanay.”

Livid Carlo was even told the fee would be the same over the coming months and was not higher than normal because of the festive period.

He added: “I think it’s ridiculous when I can get David Hasselhoff for £15,000, Peter Andre and Jordan for £7,000, rapper Coolio for £3,000 and the MacDonald Brothers for £2,500. Only Girls Aloud charge £25,000 and there’s five of them.”

Talk about too big for your boots Leon…

Are you as shocked as I am that Tila Tequila and Bobby Banhart didn’t last? Umm, NOT!!! Who really thought they would?

As much as I am ashamed to admit it, I watched the show. The bisexual twist on “The Bachelor” hooked me. For those of you who hid under a rock last season, Tila was choosing her soul mate - from 2 groups - one male and one female. In the end, she went straight and picked Bobby over female Danni.

But, instead of sizzling, the relationship fizzled. So, Tila’s up again for a second season on MTV. Not much is being said about any changes to the show, but she’s going to try again to find someone who will be perfect for her.

Why this didn’t work? Tila said, “I thought I had finally found someone that I was compatible with, but I guess I was wrong. My hectic schedule was really hard on him and we both were getting frustrated, but at the same time…it’s too bad that things didn’t work out between us.”

Umm, yeah, maybe it was the fact that he couldn’t take her anywhere without wondering if she was looking at other guys…..or women….or, whatever.
