A Tennessee judge finalized the country star’s divorce from the former politico Friday, putting an end to 10 months of lurid allegations, tearful denials and other split-fueled warfare. According to documents filed in Williamson County Chancery Court, Evans will fork over $600,000 in alimony, with the option of making annual payments of $60,000 over 10 years, and Schelske will hang on to their two homes in Oregon. Her ex-husband sounds like a real jerk. Too bad she has to pay him alimony, 60K for ten years! Hope she has a few more hit songs. That is the motive behind many of the marriages in Hollywood today, they meet, mingle and jingle bells are there soon after only for everything to come crashing down even sooner than it could to decide they are an item. Well poor Sara either she can contest the judgment or pay that jerk some money to leave her alone.

Joey Fatone is offering Britney Spears a getaway from her life in the spotlight.

“Britney, call me, come over to my house, come to Orlando, get away from it all,” Fatone, tells Extra. “It’s a good thing to get out of L.A.”

Last weekend, the embattled pop star spent time in Atlanta after being charged with hit-and-run in Los Angeles.

Spears is working on a career comeback with a new album due out in November. But she’s suffered a series of setbacks, including scathing reviews of her performance at the Video Music Awards and a very public battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody of their two sons.

“I think she just needs some time, some time to really heal,” says Fatone, who has known Spears for many years. The current Singing Bee host was also a member of N’ Sync with Spears’s former flame, Justin Timberlake.

Britney was spotted breaking into tears as she entered her lawyer’s office on Friday in LA. She received news from the Los Angeles City Attorney that she was charged with one count of hit and run which caused property damage and driving without a license. It seems that Britney was never issued a California license.

This all stemmed early last August when she hit a car in a parking lot but drove away without leaving insurance information. The paparazzi caught it all on tape which served as proof.

Britney faces a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail for each charge. She will have a hearing on October 10.

The former pop singer and Doctor Who actress is to star in hard-hitting new drama series “Secret Life of a Call Girl,” which documents the life of a London prostitute. This is the silliest thing to do after you have committed an error. She know that there was going to be a graphic sex scene in the Show and when she signed on the dotted line with the manager or producers they would made it clear about the requirements of the role. She should have told her dad (if she thought it was necessary to tell him, which she has eventually told him now) at the time she signed on to do the role. Now that she has done it, telling her dad won’t change anything because she has done the job and it will be show on TV. The only thing she can gain from telling her dad now is to gain some consolation that she has finally told him.

Mindy McCready was sentenced Friday to a year in jail on a 2004 drug charge after she violated her probation in Florida. The 31-year-old country singer has been in jail since July when she was returned to Nashville after being accused of scratching her mother in a scuffle and resisting sheriff’s deputies in her hometown of Fort Myers.

McCready received a suspended three-year sentence in 2004 for fraudulently obtaining prescription painkillers. She was resentenced Friday because of the probation violation.

The singer sobbed as she asked for leniency from Circuit Judge Jeff Bivins.

“Your honor, I can honestly tell you this: This has been the longest two months of my life … not being able to hold my son … has been excruciatingly painful.”

“I could only say I’m sorry,” she said. “Please give me a chance to make things as right as they can possibly be.”

Bivins sentenced her to a year in the county jail with credit for 75 days of time served. After her release she will face another two years of probation.

Deputy District Attorney General Derek Smith said McCready violated probation by being charged in a new offense, not reporting those charges immediately to her probation officer and by the nature of the new assault charges.

McCready had a hit in 1996 with “Guys Do It All the Time.”

She has struggled with legal and personal problems that included a beating by her then-boyfriend and suicide attempts. She gave birth to her son in 2006.

Still pending is a charge of violating her probation for driving on a suspended license in 2005. She pleaded guilty to the driving charge, but her attorney has since sought to withdraw the plea, citing new evidence.

Kid Rock could face up to six months in jail after his fight with Tommy Lee at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.

The pair were involved in a scuffle in the main room where the ceremony was taking place. Reports say Lee started the trouble earlier in the evening by antagonizing Rock, who was sitting nearby.

The pair were then involved in a punch-up, and were pulled away from each other by security. Lee was removed from the auditorium while Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, stayed.

Police arrived at the scene at the Palms Casino Resort and interviewed witnesses and Rock, who received a citation for misdemeanor battery. Rock was due to introduce a segment with Diddy, but was unable to fulfill that commitment due to the incident.

Both are ex-husbands of Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.

Police Officer Bill Cassell told the Associated Press that despite the possibility of a jail sentence, it is unlikely that anyone on similar charges would serve that time.

Jessica Simpson’s singing career doesn’t seem to be doing so well, maybe that’s why she is going to change things up and go country for her next album.
