Neighbors of Paris Hilton have revealed that she treats her animals horribly.
The hotel heiress, who is now serving her 45-day jail sentence reportedly lets her pets menagerie roam all over the neighborhood and residents have had enough.
Shelby Segall, whose yard borders Paris’, told the New York Post newspaper: “She treats her animals horribly. They are always getting out and running around the neighborhood. She had a little orange kitty about a year ago that kept getting out and we kept telling her it was outside. She didn’t seem like she cared, and then one day the cat got run over in the middle of the street and died. Not long after, little Chihuahua Tinkerbell came to my door and I left a note on her gate. Her assistant came over frantic and tried to offer me a $40 reward. I said, ‘Don’t insult me.’ “
Another neighbor of Paris’ told that she has seen two of her Chihuahuas running on the street and she has taken them in her house to keep them safe.
She revealed: ”I found two little Chihuahuas of hers running up and down the street with cars and people going up and down. I put them in my bathroom and called Paris. Her assistant answered and said, ‘You can’t drop them off! Miss Hilton isn’t home!’ She took three hours to come get them although she only lives five houses away.”
Meanwhile Paris has received more letters from her fans than any other prisoner in the history of Los Angeles County jail system. Her manager has been asked to pick up 20 crates of letters.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “don’ know what she’ll do without all the fan letters.”

It might be surprising to some people that the first thing we hear about Catherine Zeta Jones in a while is that she is insecure. It’s hardly breaking news but it does have it appeal. A woman like Catherine isn’t the type most of us would think goes through the day with the same type of worries and physical or emotional woes that the rest of us have. Her recent confession that she was insecure was to In Style magazine. She told them that she puts up an armor to hide behind. Don’t we all? That’s really not so unexpected. If I had paparazzi following me around all of the time I would be insecure too. Of course I’m sure a high profile marriage and just being a human woman can play a role here as well. Either way, it’s hard to feel too bad for Catherine. The lady is a total knock out. I’m sure there are plenty of women out there who would gladly trade insecurities with her in a heartbeat.

It isn’t really news anymore what happened with the whole Isaiah and T.R. Knight incident. We all heard months ago about the claim Knight made on the Ellen Degeneres show stating that Washington called him a “faggot” to fellow co-start Patrick Dempsey. It was recently announced that when the new season of Grey’s Anatomy resumes in the fall, Washington will not be returning with the rest of the cast. His reaction to this is to be expected. Considering he hasn’t accepted responsibility for his actions and has only denied them, it may be in the best interest of the show to let him go. It is rather unfortunate that a man who must understand discrimination himself would dish it out on somebody else. He is insistent that he has told only the truth and is unfairly being fired from the hit show. T.R. Knight has given no comment regarding this latest turn of events.

The latest tidbit spit out of Hollywood on Lindsay Lohan is slightly interesting. Recently her father spoke to the press to inform them that the party girl diva has found God. Lohan is still in a Malibu rehab center attempting to walk the road to recovery. Her father Michael Lohan believes she is now on a clean path to righteousness since she has started attending church services. There may be some truth to this proclamation of Lindsay’s new found virtue. She did after all call off her scheduled twenty first birthday bash which is a relief to many.

It was only last month that Lindsay had to check into rehab yet again after driving intoxicated and crashing her car. Considering the police found cocaine in her car, I’d say a little time at church may be good for her. These are the girls children are looking up to because they are in family movies. What she has been up to is hardly family entertainment. It’s about time she cleans up. Maybe she can encourage some of the other falling stars to do the same.

Gianfranco Ferre, the Italian fashion designer known as the “architect of fashion” for his structured, sculpted shapes and for his ground breaking tenure as Christian Dior, died on Sunday. He was 62. Ferre was taken to the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan on Friday after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage. Gianfranco started his career as an accessories and jewellery designer and then slowly made to the move up to clothes and the fashion industry. His unofficial tag as Italy’s architect of fashion came thanks to the degree in architecture he obtained in 1969 from Milan’s Polytechnic Institute that later on in his career inspired his designs. Ferre’s style was based on simple and structured lines, and the white blouse became one of his trademarks.

The people in the rural county where the filmmaker Michael Moore lives had an early look at his new film “Sicko” on Saturday. Moore had also some harsh words for critics of the documentary that launched his career.
The film that accuses Moore of dishonesty in the making of his politically charged documentaries “Manufacturing Dissent” alleges that he interviewed then-General Motors Corp. Chairman Roger Smith, the elusive subject of Moore’s 1989 debut “Roger & Me,” but left the footage on the cutting room floor.
After showing the film to the people in his rural county Moore had an interview for the Associated Press in which he said:” Anybody who says that is a liar”.
Moore, who said he hadn’t seen “Manufacturing Dissent”, acknowledged having had “a good five minutes of back-and forth” with Smith about a company tax abatement at a 1987 shareholders’ meeting, as reported by Premiere magazine in 1990. But that was before he began working on “Roger & Me” and had nothing to do with the film, Moore said.
The filmmakers of the “Manufacturing Dissent”- Rick Caine and Debbie Melnyk said that they had interviewed an activist, who had seen Moore interviewing Smith in 1998 in New York.
“If I’d gotten an interview with him, why wouldn’t I put it in the film?” Moore said. “Any exchange with Roger Smith would have been valuable. And GM surely would have publicized any interview in response to the movie”, he said.
“I’m so used to listening to the stuff people say about me, it just becomes entertainment for me at this point”, Moore said. “It’s a fictional character that’s been created with the name of Michael Moore.”
Moore’s new film opens on Monday and two days later in Washington before hitting screens nationwide June 29.

Lindsay Lohan had a ”total death wish” says her former bodyguard.
The troubled actress, who is currently being treated for alcoholism and drug abuse in Malibu’s Promises rehab center, is “out of control” and has reportedly tried to commit suicide.
Lindsay’s ex-security guard Lee Weaver, who claims he quit because she was too dangerous to work for, revealed to the News of the World newspaper: “I have looked after some of the wildest stars in Hollywood but have never seen anyone as out of control as Lindsay.”
“She had a total death wish and took more drugs and drank more than anyone I’ve met.”
“I lost count of the times I thought she was overdosing and had to carry her out of parties. Every morning I’d breathe a sigh of relief she was still alive.”
“One night I looked at her wrists and hands and noticed they had bright red wounds all over them.”
“She broke down and told me, “I don’t belong on this planet anymore.” She said she cut herself because she didn’t think life was worth living.”
Weaver – who has previously worked for Brad Pitt, Pamela Anderson, and Robert Downey Jr – also claims Lindsay, 20, joined Nicole Richie for cocaine binges.
He said: “One night Lindsay and Nicole laid a mirror taken from the bedroom and on a coffee table and emptied a mountain of coke onto it.”
“They went at the stuff with straws hoovering it all up. I tried to tell Lindsay to stop. After ten hours, I had to carry her to the car.”
Weaver also claims Lindsay experimented with lesbian sex, using women for “thrills”.
He added: “I lost count of the women she took back to her hotel room from clubs. She used girls for thrills. I even saw her try to grope Mariah Carey’s butt and boobs one night.”
“At the start she seemed such a fun-loving angelic girl, but under the influence of drugs she was psychotic.”

Mala Powers was an important actress in the 1940s and 1950s with her biggest role considered to be Roxanne in “Cyrano de Bergerac”. Unfortunately she passed away recently at the age of 76. The reason was complications of leukemia. This has to be quite an unpleasant death for a very pleasant woman. Few people know that she was a big part of Ferrer’s Oscar winning performance in “Cyrano de Bergerac”. Other important roles in her career include a rape victim in “Outrage”, a role in “Tough as They Come” at the tender age of 11 and other successful movies like “Edge of Doom”, “Storm Rider”, “City That Never Sleeps” and many others.
Her later years saw Mala Powers as a teacher of acting and had many appearances at important universities in the USA. Her last stage role was in “Mr. Shaw Goes to Hollywood” at the Laguna Playhouse in 2002. May she rest in peace!

Since when did a Prime Minister of a developed nation have interest in acting in a movie along with reputed actors. Now we will not jump the gun here and lets all hear about a PM who has taken time to act in a movie to save the environment. It is British Prime Minister Tony Blair who made his debut with a short movie, directed by Shekhar Kapur, to promote climate change awareness. The movie, titled Global Cool, kindly do not take it as a sci-fi movie as the name might suggest, also stars actor Sienna Miller. Tony Blair is to leave the post of the Prime Minister at the end of this month and shall be overtaken by his colleague Mr. Brown. Blair plays a ‘carbon crusader’ in the film, which premiered recently as the International Indian Film Academy awards ceremony. I think of the many great issues that the world will have to cope with in the century; climate change remains the most dreadful issue that concerns us. And the world leaders especially those from the developed world should come forward and take steps to curb emissions. Way to go and way to bow out Mr. Blair.

I am sure that many fans have wondered why there is no Bon Jovi appearance lately. We just found out that the reason is quite simple. Guitarist Richie Sambora just entered rehab. People Magazine released the news in an exclusive article released by an undisclosed reporter. The official statement released is:

“Richie Sambora has entered an undisclosed treatment facility in Los Angeles. He asks that you respect he and his family’s privacy at this time.”

Nobody knows what substance abuse is in talks here and no further information is known. What is probably to be expected is that Sambora will recover, deal with his problem, appear back on the scene and Bon Jovi will start rocking the crowds sooner than expected.

Actors Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been cheered by thousands of fans at Indian cinema’s leading awards ceremony. In the days leading up to the awards, Yorkshire hosted a string of events – including a world film premiere in Castleford. Some 12,000 fans were at the Hallam FM Arena, with more at BBC big screens in Leeds, Bradford and Rotherham. Bachchan told the BBC he found the reception from fans “overwhelming, really overwhelming,” while wife Rai, who was named most glamorous actress at the ceremony, said: “We reciprocate the love right back.” Shilpa Shetty received a special award for the way she conducted herself after the Celebrity Big Brother racism row. The awards called the IIFA awards are held annually at international venues so as to capture the imagination of the Indian people living abroad and an international audience so that the income of the Indian film industry can be increased from it currents levels.
